I couldn’t find what I needed here but then I also couldn’t find it anywhere else. The staff here are really helpful and he went out of their way to help me out. Everyone was collaborative, friendly and knowledgeable.

The story is nicely laid out and everything was quite easy to find. Plenty of good value products, including clothing. Very convenient.

The guy at hardware really made a lot of effort to help me out. I really appreciate that because I’m not much of a handyman.

There’s plenty of free parking here. The back entrance is kind of weird but there’s a large yellow sign to point you in the right direction.

Nice store and I will be back again for other items.

Last year I purchased Style Selections 30”Medicine Cabinet and after 15 months I noticed the issue on the right hand door mirror. Contacted Rona support asking them to order the door, noting that I am out of warranty (12M) and I intend to pay for the door. After few e-mails back and forth I got advised that Rona support cannot place the order since manufacturer will not ship the door.
That is very disappointing moment since by searching on the net apparently Style Selections is “private brand” exclusive to Rona so in case of the issue with that brand good luck.
Interestingly enough in last e-mail from Rona support they advised me to go to store and see if they can assist me.
Such a great experience there. After I explained the issue (I brought the door with me) they came with solution and I got door replaced.
I had to go back to store in few hours to pick the replacement so big thanks to Norm who worked on this replacement and unfortunately few other people I do not know their names.
I believe they are all part of great team.
This Rona store will stay my favourite store.

This store went down hill. Department specialists don’t exist and those that you are lucky to find have no clue of what’s going on. They all blame it on the manager that is not around. Yesterday someone told me to wait as he was going to look for the manager, 15 min later he was no where to be found so I just left.

Very disappointed with Rona and so should be their suppliers because who lost the sale is actually LEVOLOR, not them.

Great store, where you find everything ur family needs for all seasons. We bought sand for children sand box for a very reasonable price. Staff was very friendly, helped us to to find our item among one thousand sections this huge store has.

I’ve given this Rona+ Etobicoke at the Queensway multiple chances, but the customer service is consistently rude and dismissive. The staff are not knowledgeable and act annoyed when you ask for help. Even when I tried to show them exactly what I was looking for, I was cut off and told “we don’t sell that” without even looking. No effort to help, no interest in problem-solving — just attitude.

Head office really needs to take a serious look at this location. Times are tough for big box stores, and with service like this, it’s no wonder people are taking their business elsewhere. If they’re not going to prioritize customer service, this store won’t last — and unfortunately, that means the very people delivering poor service may find themselves out of a job.

Disappointing every time.

Got a chance to make use of Customer Service. It was great. No line-up, no fuss - I was able to get a refund on a couple of PVC connecter thingies. Also, the ones I wanted to buy to replace them had one with a missing inner locknut. I asked if I could get a discount on that one lacking unit and they knocked the price down from $7.79 to $5.00. The reason for my 4-star instead of 5-star rating is that the selection is not always as great as I hope for, but when they don't have quite what I'm looking for, they usually have something close that will do. I try to buy Canadian first so I'll continue to give Rona first shot for my purchases.

The parking lot is large with ample spots and the store is large and bright/clean - those are the pluses. The minuses is the online information is not accurate and the customer service at this location is something else. I looked online prior to going to this store because it said my item had 8 in stock. I went straight to a customer service agent when I entered the store to locate the item. The associate took me to the service desk and looked in their computer and even confirmed the item I was looking for then without another word, she walked away to what I thought was the back area to retrieve the item. I waited there for a while with a couple other agents asking me if I needed help. I told them someone was already helping me and then I saw her go chat with those same ladies. I figured she must have asked a stock guy to retrieve it so I kept waiting patiently. After waiting a while longer and seeing her go to the cashier area to help someone else, I asked about my item to which two sales agents said "Yeah we don't have any". I told them that it says online they have 8 instore and they said their system says they only have 1 thermostat instore. I told them I wasn't looking for a thermostat and said I was looking for something else and they said they didn't have it without looking at anything. Even if that was the truth and not just blowing me off, no one told me this. They all just left me waiting there endlessly. There weren't any other customers waiting. I had to ask them directly because I saw none of them were doing anything other than standing around chatting to each other. It's most likely a minimum wage gig so I get it. It's just annoying if you're even just expecting minimum decency so if you're thinking about going to his Rona, my recommendation is go to Home Depot or Canadian Tire instead. The service may or may not be better but those retailers websites/apps are at least easier to navigate and have more accurate information. No point wasting your time at this place.
