Very helpful staff, including the ones in training! I loved how the female employee was training the young man learning a new job. She let him see how many questions he could answer from me, and he did very well. Confidence building in the making!
Not to mention the large facility itself. This RONA has a lot to offer, and I could lose myself on purpose here!
At the cash register, I just happened to ask if they have a rewards program. We were told they do have a small one, but only for businesses. I asked if a church counts, and she said yes. I pointed to the gentleman with me and said, "Meet my priest & boss". It's not going to make you rich as it's a 5% discount. Most people would say, "Meh, it's not worth it," but I say, "It adds up after a year, and I am grateful for any kickbacks in life." Love the variety of home improvement items along with all the building supplies. Happy shopping!

I just moved to Ridge in Dec. 2023 and came to this Rona while we were doing a small renovation and the workers were beyond helpful. I was very positively surprised at how helpful all the employees were. Unfortunately more recently, I have had a few situations where the employees have been far less than helpful and it has been disappointing.

Most of the staff here are super helpful! Even though one associate, Justin, wasn’t very helpful and just pointed me to aisle 2 or 3 without really checking, another associate named Tony really went above and beyond. He walked us to each item we needed and totally understood that sometimes just knowing the aisle isn’t enough. Thanks a lot, Tony—you made our visit much easier! Despite the experience with Justin, I’m still giving this location 5 stars because of the great service from Tony and others.

Typical Rona. I would suggest calling ahead to make sure they have what you need in stock even if the website says they have so many in stock. Drove about 40 minutes to grab some sod only to be told they haven't gotten their delivery yet and they don't know when exactly i would be coming in. All this while the website was saying they have over 300 units in stock. Lesson learned.

I Ordered a Breaker Online, upon recieving the breaker from the mail it is damage. Now i went to this store to return it. Talk to the Manager and they wont accept it because it is damage! That doesnt make any sense. They sent me a damage breaker that is why im returning it. Now they wont accept it because its damage they said. I told him that thats why im returning it because its damage. They still wont accept it. So they just going to took your money send you broken stuff and tell you that they wont accept it.

Never going to buy to this store again. Poor customer service.

Honestly - whats the point in trying to support Canadian if the staff are stand offish and rude? I mean if you hate your job so much why even work there? The older blonde lady with glasses just stared at me when I asked her a question - no hello no smile. Maybe smiles are reserved for locals who aren't brown.
No I went to Home Depot which is sad as its american but at least I got a hello and decent service there.
The management and staff dont care - they just count down the hours until they can leave. No one is happy working here. Cliquey weird place.

I like Rona. Mostly because I know where everything is. It’s has a fair selection of tools and materials for very basic home projects.
Most of the employees are quite helpful and friendly with the exception of the lady that works in the paint mixing counter. She seems like an angry person who doesn’t like people.

Staff is actually really good, much better than any home Depot I've been to. Selection is good, prices are good, parking is ok, get pretty busy at peak times
