Just picked up our 1/2 beef a few weeks ago.
Angie is very pleasant to deal with and Dean knows what he’s doing. His 30+ years in business shows his expertise.
They are very accommodating and understanding when communicating with !

Dean and Angie really are the heart of the shop. They serve the best Alberta Beef, Pork and meat around town. Their mixes of seasoning, different flavours and meat package offerings are second to none. With a quick turn around time, fair and comparable pricing they are the best local butchers for the job. I've been going to Schlecker meats for a few years. The steaks are top quality and Deans sausage is amazing. I would highly recommend his smokies and pepperoni stick

Schleckers Meats is a rip off. You all be careful dealing with this place. (1) Angie can be very ignorant to her paying customers if you question her about your meat. (2) I took 1500 pounds of dressed Elk and Moose meat into get processed and received a total of 520lbs in return 38% now let me tell you I have been hunting for 45 years and your average return should be around 50%
3 out of 4 animals had great shots no damage to any shoulders. (3) if you take wild game here I would suggest that you remove the backstraps, tend erlions and any high-quality meat from your animals.
And lastly you will not win with these people (take pictures of your animals if you use these guys.)

Great place they take great care of their customers and do excellent work, they call you when your meat is ready!! I will be going back thanks Dean and Angie for the garlic sausage and the deer jerky. I never had such amazing tasting deer meat very moist which comes from great quality taste. Thank you so much for your hospitality.
