Last year, I bought four trees ( 2 apples and 2 Mount Royal Plums) from this company. However, one of the plum trees is not leafing, and its branches are dry. The other plum tree bloomed just fine. I contacted the company last month, just before the one-year guarantee expired, but they advised me to wait it out. Despite sending photos showing the healthy plum tree in comparison to the problematic one, the company didn't take action and just want me to wait it out. This month, I sent another photo showing the tree still without signs of life. I even offered to forgo the replacement guarantee and asked for a discount instead, as I didn't want to wait any longer. They offered me 50% off. Although I considered it, I was advised not to deal with an unreliable company anymore regarding warranties. Consequently, I decided to buy from another company. I would not buy from this company again or recommend them to anyone.

My backyard aspen tree damaged by leaf rollers, 3 dead already, I have called 311 and 411, try to find someone or company for advise, but end up with "you have to give me the company name then I can give you the number" (if I know the company name, I can find the number on google by myself!). Then I searched online by using key word "aspen tree Edmonton" and found this company, a lady answered all my questions very patiently and professionally (Sorry I forgot her name), and told me soup water may help, I am going to try it. Just want to say thank you again here!

My wife and I have been looking for a lilac tree, not a bush or shrub, and decided to make the drive to Sherwood Nurseries. We sure wish we had found these guys first, would have saved us a lot of wasted time and gas. The service we received was amazing as was the information provided for what we were looking for. Needless to say we found the lilac tree we wanted and will most assuredly be returning here for our future plant/tree needs. !

I can't say enough good things about Sherwood Nurseries. They were so very helpful in helping us decide on the trees we wanted and were beyond patient with us. I was constantly emailing them asking question and always received a prompt reply. One time I had emailed more questions and received a reply promptly even though the lady, I believe Sharon, was at the ER with an eye injury.
We paid to have to trees planted and the service was excellent. They did a great job and were prompt and efficient and cleaned up everything right away. Price wise they were very comparable or maybe even a little less expensive than the bigger garden centers. Everything is of a good quality. I live in Beaumont, but it was definitely worth the drive.

The service is extremely appalling. Staff barely acknowledging your presence despite greeting them. They assisted grudgingly. Surely won’t be spending my money on a business that doesn’t value its customers.

Great knowledge of what they had in stock, and what was best. Such fun buying there. The staff made the experience great, and were able to get a ginormous tree in my vehicle which I got safely delivered. Thank you ladies.

Highly recommend!!
I found them thru a Facebook ad, and I only wish I found them sooner. The prices compared with other local nurseries blew me away. After learning they don’t mark up to cover warranty on the plants, it did not deter me. We take care of what we buy and take full responsibility. If you want that buffer, spend more elsewhere, if not, come here - it is worth it.
They are super helpful and can even order in what you need if their supplier carries it.
I’ve recommended them many times to friends who are in need of plants and trees. We have bought numerous trees from them, and they are all doing so well. We look forward to coming back to get more from them.

This is the best place to buy tree’s that we’ve found. The staff is friendly, helpful and feels as if you are buying trees from a neighbour or friend. We really enjoy the location as well. The only challenge we have is bringing trees home to Beaumont without damaging them. The staff was informative and helpful in this with their recommendation to drive 70Km/hr max and their excellent shrink wrapping of the trees. We were able to bring 6 trees home undamaged in the back of a pickup. Our trees leaves pirked up right away upon planting with some water. We’ll go here for all of our trees and would recommend to anyone.
