A beautiful family-run homestead tucked away in the valley of Cedar. The accommodations, farm animals and customer service will have you wanting to come back every weekend. Truly a gem and a great look into farm life. You can even have fresh eggs each morning! A must visit.

Do yourself a favor and visit ShireWoods and stay in one of their cozy accommodations!

For my bachelorette weekend I stayed in the geodome with my maid of honour and we woke up to the most stunning farm views complete with some duck visitors and horses grazing in the fields. I've also stayed in one of the yurts for a friends birthday and it was the most lovely and cozy camping I've ever done. I highly recommend any of the accommodations they have.

The family that owns and operates this farm are so friendly and welcoming - if you're lucky they might even share their farm fresh eggs!

Thank you for a wonderful experience staying in the wagon. Shower and washrooms were so clean and enjoyable, really a step up from most outdoor or rustic accommodations. We had a lovely time on the farm and really enjoyed meeting all the animals in our morning tour with Jordan. I will definitely recommend your farm to friends and hope to come again soon.

Bernadette was such a wonderful, warm, welcoming host. My sister and I had a great birthday getaway in the wagon, and were grateful it was pet-friendly and private. The firepit, the covered picnic area, and the communal outdoor games area were all excellent and clean, though the time with the goats was the highlight! Thanks for having us at your beautiful acreage.

We stayed in the dome and the hosts were so wonderful and accommodating. It is truly a little piece of heaven on this farm where all of your worries seem to melt away. Cannot recommend enough and will definitely be returning.

Highly recommend this place if you are heading in that direction. It’s beautiful, relaxing, quiet, clean, and the owners are lovely people. My kids favourite part was petting and holding the animals. It’s like a petting zoo there if you’re interested in that. But would also be a great romantic get away for those that want to camp but not rough it! Definitely worth going to!

I stayed here for my bachelorette weekend with my sister and it was PERFECT. We had a great dinner at the pub around the way, and our dome was the perfect cozy retreat. In the morning we got to play with goats and chickens!

Stayed up in the small cabin last summer and had a great time. Truly a peaceful getaway. The owners took good care of us with recommendations on local spots to visit and events to attend.
