We had an awesome time in the provincial camp ground but loved going in to see owners of silver birch resort. Very friendly they have beautiful flowers outside and carry anything you'd need or forgot when heading out camping. We can't wait to go stay in winter.

Such a cool little store with great selection of basic camping, fishing, and food as well as firewood and ice. No booze. Owners and dogs were both friendly and took the time to point out some fishing holes. Cabins looked nice but we stayed in the campground.

The Silver Birch Resort & Outfitting recently under new ownership and complete renovations. It's gorgeous! My compliments to them for the attention and detail provided in the renovations, the decor, the nice displays. They have invested greatly and they provide excellent service to their clientele.

Silver Birch Resort has one of the best stores of its kind that I know of. The American couple who run the place know how to stock a store from summer treats to essential hardware, food supplies, clothing and sporting gear. It's a short walk from the Moose Lake camping sites and 7 km from Birch Point boat launch and camping sites.

The new owners are greedy Yanks who gouge you for fuel, stopped there while snowmobiling Feb11/17, they sell fuel for $1.489 a litre, the going price everywhere else is about $1.15. I have no problem paying a little more for fuel in remote places as transport costs are a factor, but $1.489 is just robbery, it's the first time and last time I buy fuel from them. The previous owners would sell for about 0.05$ more than the average, very reasonable and we always supported them, not this guy, that's my 0.35$ a litre gouge opinion.

Steve and Deb are always great to deal with. A well stocked store including bait, fuel and firewood. The rental cabins have all been recently renovated and are a great place to stay summer or winter. Short drive down the road to Birch Point (Lake of the Woods)

Recent upgrades and Reno's have made this place even nicer than it already was! ***
