No self-serve checkouts and with at least 10 stations, only 1-2 is ever in use when I go in, creating long lines and angry customers. If they removed half of them and get at least a half a dozen self-serve checkouts, it would increase efficiency by at least 50 percent and people would be a lot happier.

I went grocery shopping here on January 2nd at night. The next day when I was going to prepare my family's meals for the next few days, I noticed a suspect smell from the chicken i had just purchased. I checked the expiration date and it was best before the 3rd. It wasn't priced to clear or marked to be used immediately when I bought it. When I went to ask if I could get a replacement or a refund, the man from the meat department said, very condescendingly, that it's my fault for not checking the dates and that's 100% not on them! OK sobeys, if one of your suppliers sent you chicken that expired the next day, you wouldn't expect to be refunded for that? BS! Its obvious that you had old meat sitting around while you were closed over the holiday and you were trying to get away with selling it off as fresh. I go to sobeys expecting to pay a bit more than superstore, with the expectation of better quality and service, which wasn't even close to my experience! I hope saving the $30.00 by not exchanging my chicken was worth it, because I'll never shop here again.

A smaller Sobeys but the friendliness of the staff make up for its limited choices. Staff are phenomenal; always helpful and cheery. My first choice for groceries in Windsor! Far better pricing than Superstore IMO.

Love the staff here. Very friendly and helpful. Prices aren't too bad with the prices of groceries now, love the variety. The bakery is awesome. The cakes are the best.

Good grocery store. Always well stocked, easy to navigate, and the staff on the floor are always willing to help customers.

One thing is that their cashier need to move faster. They all don't seem to remember where the bare code is on any item, so that slows things down. Also, they stop scanning to talk to the customer about how their new job is, how the move went, how their new car is working, and so on. So annoying.

Another thing is that they need to get with the times and get self checkout. EVERYWHERE else has them! It would speed things up by a lot if I was able to scan my few items instead of waiting for the cashier to do it.

We were shopping for a BBQ in the meat dept. The item we were looking for was sold out and substituted. Other customers were also interested in buying the same thing but the cuts were a little thin for grilling. An employee, I wish I caught her name, went out back and had the butcher cut some thicker cuts for us. This made at least three very happy customers. Thank you.

Sobeys has consistently impressed me with its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. The store layout is well-designed, making it easy to find items efficiently. The fresh produce section is particularly impressive, offering a wide array of high-quality fruits and vegetables. Sobeys also excels in its selection of both local and international products, ensuring a diverse range of options for shoppers.

I went to Sobies in Windsor NovaScotia . I purchase my 200 plus dollars in groceries. Went through the cash , I'm also 72 years old. Struggle to get everything into the bags. Because it was a big line behind me,i was hurring. The cashier stood there. Watching waiting for me to finish.
She had to restart the debit machine Because.it ran out of time.I told her I was sorry I was slow and then I said don't you people help pack the groceries you used to. This is why I go to sobbie's. I have help or I would go to the other store and use their self. Checkout. I guess it doesn't matter which store I go to I don't get any help
