My breakfast routine includes several cups of fresh fruit daily and one of these fruits is always blueberry. This routine is year-round so depending on the season I'm eating berries from top to bottom of the Americas.
I've tried South Alder Farms berries on numerous occasions and to-date they are the most consistent with regards to freshness and taste compared to other suppliers.They are also the only supplier (I know of) that indicates the packing date which I do appreciate. On average I dispose of about 20% of berries due to mold, over-ripe etc but with South Alder my wastage is virtually nil .... keep up the good work, I hope this season has been better than predicted.

My wife bought the 2lb container from Giant Tiger. I ate some the first day and there are far too many soft tasteless blueberries. The smallest ones are the best, probably not as overripe as the others. They definitely don't come close to wild berry taste. My dog likes them, but then again, she also eats wasabi peas. The 2nd day, maybe 25% were worth eating. We live in Ontario and I wonder if the long shipping time from BC and all the jiggling around during transportation affects the quality too much.

I have been lucky enough to see their facility and how sanitary and well run their business is. Also, had the pleasure of enjoying their fruits of their labour! There are different types of blueberries, and I can tell you that there are different types of blueberries and these have always been delicious. Their blackberries are massive and very sweet too. Also, there staff , management and ownership is first class from the top down.

I was going through the blueberries we bought from COSTCO for my kids lunches. I threw out about 40% of them due to soft / bruised spots and when I tried a handful I was completely disappointed. They had an odd texture and flavour. Definitely disappointed.

Got 2 pints of blueberries from this place at Safeway, I’m not sure what’s wrong at the other stores but the blueberries I got were excellent. Super sweet, not too mushy or firm, loved them!

Safeway had these blueberries on sale, so I got a box. After getting home, I immediately regretted not buying more -- these are the best blueberries I've ever had! I'll keep buying as long as they're in season. So good!
