Had a terrible experience today. My elderly grandmother wanted to by some flowers to plant in her garden today. She lives close enough to walk, even though at her age it’s not easy. I went to pick her up just around closing time, and I encountered the rudest most disrespectful employee in my life. My grandmother wanted to pay with her debit, this rude man held out the machine and instructed her to tap (in the rudest tone you can imagine). She didn’t want to tap, she wanted to enter her pin to ensure it came out of the account she wanted. The man behind the counter, to my disbelief, took the card out of her hand and tapped it before she had a chance to do anything. I respectfully told the man that she didn’t want to tap and his response was “well it’s after 5”
I couldn’t believe it, are you kidding? You took another persons method of payment out of their hand with permission and that’s your response? My grandmother has shopped there since before they moved to that location and the disrespect shown was infuriating. She was quite upset, as was I. I explained what happened to another employee as I walked out, older gentleman with long grey hair. He was very pleasant but when I told him what happened he just shrugged and said “these guys get like that after 5”
We will never go here again. I suggest anyone reading this does the same. Imagine treating an elderly loyal customer this way? Or any customer for that matter. A complete joke and it took a lot of restraint not to escalate the situation while I was there. I urge anyone reading this to NEVER go to this establishment

I’ve been a long-time customer, but unfortunately, my recent experiences have been disappointing. The owner and staff has shown a lack of professionalism, particularly when answering questions or providing assistance. On multiple occasions, I’ve been met with impatience, rudeness, and even had phone calls disconnected without further explanation. It’s concerning, especially given the number of competitors in the area who offer a more positive and customer-focused experience. I hope the owner takes this feedback seriously and works to improve the overall service.

Unprofessional and Dismissive Service
I went to buy flowers and asked about a contractor discount before paying. The cashier first said yes, then suddenly changed his mind with no clear explanation and told me to come back another time. I ended up leaving without buying. Wasted my time — poor attitude and no respect for customers.

I just called to ask about a tree availability. Person that answered was near comically rude and hung up on me.
I'll explain: the person who answered was in mid conversation with someone else. Without letting me know that they were suddenly addressing me I said, oh I thought you were talking to someone else. The person on the other end said with disdain, you thought I was talking to someone else and hung up on me. I tried calling back but the same person answered and sarcastically said, Speelmans please hold. And put me on hold.
A previous time I called up to inquire about watering requirements and the person on the other end sarcastically and slowly answered, when it's dry, as if I'm an idiot.

Very unprofessional staff. I called to inquire the prices of their soil since they did not have a website.The person answered was rude and unwelcoming during the conversation and then just hung up the phone without any acknowledgment. Took my business to Anga’s farms nearby.

Best sod in the city! Always fresh. Guys out in the yard were quick to load my truck up.

Sold me half dead sod & they did not want to exchange it. They had tonnes of better quality sod they could have exchanged quickly and easily, but refused. Had to buy from another supplier to satisfy my client. Horrible customer service.

The owner of this place has a very bad temper, he treats his customers with arrogance, I hope it’s not like that with his employees 😅🤞🏼 if you go there I hope other people can take care of you and not that neurotic
