There aren't enough good words to describe Stone City Tropicals. I recently ordered two self watering moss poles and a plant. The moss poles were made with care and worked wonderfully with the plants they were bought for. The plant that I bought is in great condition and you can tell that it was really well cared for. There was a bit of a delay with getting my order, but she added a bag of Bios Nutrients as a thank you for waiting. How thoughtful!! I will be returning for my future moss pole needs... And more plants. Always more plants!

Daria has always impressed me with her selection and condition of her plants in the shop. She's always prompt with letting me pick up my plants. Recently bought two rare plants from her and I am so impressed!! As always she goes above and beyond for her business. Her shop is by far my favourite and will continue to support her.

I cannot say enough good things! Firstly, the plants I ordered were perfect specimens- they were as pictured on the website. Secondly, the care with which they were packaged for shipping was astounding! Since arriving, the plants have thrived- I’ve already had to repot one as it just kept growing! The thoughtfulness of the owner of Stone City Tropicals is also something to highlight- she kindly sent me a cutting of her begonia after I had shared my story of someone accidentally moving mine too close to the AC vent. How sweet was that!? Will be a repeat customer- just need to find room for more plants (always room, right?)

Stone City is always top knotch! Most companies make you pay extra for the winter weather packaging which I did not even think to ask about! My package showed up today and it was winter packaged and the plants arrived in 10/10 condition ready for a drink. You can tell this small business takes so much pride in everything and I’m a happily returning customer and will continue to be!

When I bought my first tissue culture, I didn't think it would be a unicorn alocasia that I've been drooling over for months. Didn't think I'd have it shipped in the onset of the cold months, or that I'd take personal offense to the idea that starting with a variegated black velvet would be hard and come with a moderately high chance of failure. But when I reached out to Daria from Stone City Tropicals and begged her to hold my hand through the process, she didn't hesitate. Her instructions were detailed, her advice from vast personal experience, and her patience with my anxiety felt pretty close to bottomless.

I highly recommend buying from Stone City. It's been so much fun, despite the risk of starting with such a fragile plant. And I am happy to report that my black velvet has been deflasked and is thriving in it's new home. It's currently putting out yet another new leaf full of promising variegation, and when Daria has a new batch of entirely too fancy little tissue cultures, I'll be first in line.
