If I could give six stars I would. The market appears to have a huge selection of goods both dry and fresh. There are few fresh vegetables but I think that is not the store's focus. We purchased a mixed BBQ platter for take out and it was phenomenal. Taste was amazing, meat, rice, salad, potatoes and pita were included as well as grilled tomato and jalapeño. Humus and labneh dips included too. The price was great too, $50 plus tax feeds 3 hungry people with leftovers.

Tried Sultan Market & Grill for a couple weekend lunches. Mediterranean food, groceries and Halal meat. Two tables (8 seats) and four stools for dining in. Order and pay at the counter in the back. Food is made fresh to order.

- Damia sour tubes ($1.29)
- Mango shake ($4.99) - cinnamon note
- Zaatar manakeesh ($5.99) - soft, pillowy pieces. Texture was heavenly
- Lahmajin ($7.99) - decent but slightly soggy
- BBQ Chicken wings ($16.99 for 14)
- Mix BBQ, lamb and kebab plate ($19.99) - lamb was perfect. Garlic sauce and hummus were tasty. Good variety with rice, pita, cubed potatoes, salad, tomato, grilled chili pepper (with a kick) and sumac pickled red onions
- Lamb shank ($18.99) - meaty, yet tender bite. Nicely marinated in a tomato type sauce
- BBQ shish tawook plate ($18.99) - chicken pieces were a touch dry

The prices are reasonable, and their meat is always fresh. They also have a lot of halal food items in the store. The mana'eesh and lahme bi ajin are delicious. Thank you so much for the excellent service and your kindness in dealing with customers. I highly recommended

I recently visited this restaurant and had some of the best grilled dishes I’ve ever tasted. The meat was juicy, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. I paired it with a cold Rani, which complemented the meal perfectly. Everything was spot on, and I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys good grilled food with a refreshing drink on the side.

A Middle-Eastern Revelation for take out in Vancouver!

Forget searching, you've found it: this spot serves up, hands down, the best Middle-Eastern food Vancouver has to offer. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm atmosphere cultivated by a genuinely friendly staff and owner who clearly care about your experience. This isn't just a meal; it's an enjoyable event.

We dove into the menu and were blown away. The Lamb Shank and BBQ Ground Beef were both cooked to order perfection, bursting with proper seasoning that showcased the authentic flavours of Middle-Eastern cuisine. Each dish was a generous feast, accompanied by creamy, expertly made Hummus, a refreshing Yogurt dip, a vibrant Salad, perfectly seasoned Thyme Roasted Potatoes, and arguably the star of the show: the Rice Pilaf. Honestly, the rice alone is worth the visit – fluffy, flavorful, and the best I've ever had! The addition of roasted jalapeno, tomato, and warm pita bread completed this epic culinary experience.

But the real winner for me was the Lahmargeen (baked meat and tomato on pita). It was a nostalgic taste of home, perfectly balanced and utterly delicious. The pita was soft and the topping had that perfect savory-sweet combination that makes Lahmargeen so irresistible.

Everything tasted incredibly fresh, indicating a commitment to quality ingredients. Combined with the expert cooking, generous portions, and welcoming atmosphere, this place isn't just good; it's exceptional. If you're looking for authentic, flavorful, and truly memorable Middle-Eastern food in Vancouver, look no further. This is it! Highly recommended!

This is a good spot to try Mediterranean cuisine and grocery products. I've ordered their BBQ kebabs a few times, and they’re always fresh and full of flavour. The portion is great as well. Highly recommended for takeout!

Highly recommended for anyone who likes Kebab, Turkish cuisine, middle eastern grocery. The open kitchen is very clean, people are nice, food is very yummy and affordable 😋😋

No wonder why this place especially the Mediterranean food has got all 5 stars 🌟. Brother Majid is an excellent person. I went there with my kids yesterday evening and the food is amazing. We prayed at MAC just next door while he prepared the order. Came back and the food was all prepared and hot. Brother Majid offered us free drinks for my kids. Sheesh kebab wrap was just delicious! Go and try. Don’t just rely on my feedback.
