Clean well maintained area. Service was super friendly and with a smile! I always visit both stores but i find strawberry hill has better selection and service. You can order marinated meat with no issues and it's very flavorful. I got bbq ribs.

I like the selection they have there but seems like the butchers never want to cut the meat. I ask for small curry piece and they never cut it small. Always big big pieces. I asked them 3 times to cut it small and it would be nice to have it done properly instead of having to come home and cut extra.

Price tags are in pounds and they weigh meat in Kgs, reservations!

Picked up Chicken seek Kabob tray and cooked it at home, it became chicken hotdog, I cooked even slow and covered.
Meat was too minced and marination didn’t have much to say kabob. It was meant to be hotdog, don’t know y tagged chicken kabob

I visit both locations. This location was the first when I got halal meat in Surrey and I was fresh here. Since then, Taqwa has become an important part of my meals. Thank you 🙂

First time went to Newton location. Bought a fresh lamb shoulder and some frozen cuts.
The staff mixed the lamb ribs in shoulder meat coz meat goes inside the shop for cutting and easy for them to mix.
I called a few times but no answer, left a couple of msgs and no call back.
A pathetic act of cheating customers..... Steer Away

Best halal meat in Lower Mainland! I’m driving 1hr (each way) to come and buy meat from this shop every 2 months.

The owner of this establishment is unethical and a fraud. He was a tenant at a friend's warehouse and forged a contract after he died, not once, but twice. He put the 90 year old wife in a bad financial position and she had to sue for rent. Look up the company if you want to read the case and all the problems he caused this poor lady. In the end, he had to be evicted by a bailiff and broke in afterwards. Tens of thousands of dollars of repairs needed.
The warehouse was dirty and unkept. It is reflected in the quality of the products. Consumer and landlord beware.

Love the Halal options and very helpful staff, they should drop the prices lower and offer better bulk wholesale.. Great location inside my fav Freshco Store!! I wish they open more stores in Langley area! I still make 30 mins drive there to shop.
