Best Bangladeshi grocery in Ottawa.This is a family run business which provides all your Bangladeshi groceries, frozen deshi fish, spices and at last but not least Halal fresh meats.
They also serve seasonal prepared meals like Haleem during Ramadan and Bangladeshi fresh made pitha during winter.
Everywhere you will find their personal touch of Bangladeshi grocery stores. I must say this not like a typical deshi store where you can find little to no space to roam around.
They also carry local sweets, deshi frozen ready meals and imported sweets and goods.
I will highly recommend to buy your groceries from this store

Such a pathetic experience. Went today to get chopped goat leg pieces. Once I reached home and it turned out to be 70% fat as shown in the pics. Went back to the store to ask for help but he was so rude.

Helpless by the bad service , left the meat at his place and came back.

Please avoid.

I bought a Bengali Hilsha fish which was terribly rotten and smelling my entire home. I paid 39 dollars which was on sale, now I realize why it was on sale. After cooking this fish I was vomiting and my 5 year old boy was unable to test even. I will never go back at this Bengali store. They are cheating with customers. Shame on them.

Had a chance to visit them today, I bought some beef shank, some whole chicken and some Bangladeshi sweets (chomchom). Prices were amazing and customer service was excellent. Owners are amazing people and it is a great store to visit. Highly recommend them for you Halal meat needs.

I always go to this store for getting Bangladesh groceries. They have a relatively good stock although sometimes things are not regularly available. You can get frozen foods, halal meat and fish. Although the stock is limited, they have a good supply of spices as well.
From time to time, they bring seasonal items as well.

The owners are humble and polite. I would definitely recommend trying them out for your next grocery or meat needs.

This was my first time Udhiya/Qurbani with Tatka. Excellent service. Excellent cutting of meat. Nicely packed. And the lady who was there was sooo kind. Highly highly recomended.
