Solid new skatepark. Something for everyone. The bowl and all other transitions are built pretty tight. Would have been nice to have some mellower options. And the park is built on a bit of a slope so pushing from the West side to the East side can be slow and tiring.

The park isn’t massive but they managed to fit a ton of features into the space. Round rails, flat bars, ledges (both with coping and raw concrete) pole jam, manny pads, stairs, huge handrail, bank-to-ledges, etc.

Tons of free parking right next to the park. Community centre with washrooms. Plenty of shaded sitting space around the park too.

This new park is amazing! It's big enough for all the people riding it, and it has enough features to enjoy yourself for the whole day! However, one safety feature I would consider is adding skatepark lights. That would be a convenient solution for people who can only skate in the later hours of the day. Nonetheless, the park is great for all ages and is well thought out.

With all the knowledge and technology we have these days I’m not sure how they managed to mess up the transition on 80% of this park… those quarter pipes are barely skateable and promote zero progression. It looks great from afar but missed the mark hard for a brand new park. Figure it out and stop wasting money on this garbage.

Very good skatepark.
Pros:
- Covered seating areas + picnic tables
- Very beginner/medium rider friendly
- Small, medium/high, pro street sections
- Interesting yet functional bowl
- Several sections including: Manual pad (To bank or flat), several ledges/boxes, several smaller quarter pipes, bowl with med, high, and higher quarters, bank-straight/gap-bank, bank to ledge/curb, and more!
- Very good concrete and no peeling (yet)
- Most of the park has enough space for runup and to exit tricks
Cons:
- Not sure how it skates (I scooter)
- Only one ok-ish small quarterpipe (They are all pretty janky and two are cut off)
- No small ledges/curbs with metal coping
- No small flatrails/slappy curbs
- No mellow medium-sized quarters (Only a less mellow one which is a bit higher)

Not as epic as Lake Wilcox Skatepark, but you don't have to pay to park!
The bowl is shallow, but it is a park designed with the needs of beginners and advanced skateparkers. Love the covered seating areas. Could use a few flood lights, there is limited coverage from parking lot. Solar USB stand is cool addition, need free wifi access though.
