The Barklay Pet Resort & Spa is an excellent choice for dog boarding, especially for dogs with specific needs. Our Rottweiler, Atlas, has a small circle of trust, but he always has a marvelous stay at The Barklay. He spends his time playing with his favorite toy and gets plenty of exercise, which is evident in his relaxed behavior when he comes home. Atlas is always happy to go to The Barklay and knows the routine well. Recently, we also brought our toy poodles, and they returned home happy and well-behaved. We highly recommend The Barklay Pet Resort & Spa to anyone seeking a comfortable and safe place for their dogs, with the peace of mind that they will be well-cared for

Boarded our 2 dogs with The Barklay Pet Resort and Spa for one week this summer and they both had a fantastic time! We did not worry if they were having a good time because each day we would receive photos of them both, showing us that yes in fact "they are having fun!" The staff are really receptive and great to deal with and the facility is very nice. We do have one dog who can be reactive with other dogs so he can only really be with our other dog and The Barklay has been able to accommodate us with his limitations in being around other dogs while still being able to meet his daily physical needs. Highly recommend The Barklay Pet Resort & Spa if you are looking for a fun and peace of mind place to leave a member of your fur family.

Bruin and Nash love to stay here and enjoy running around outdoors. The girls are always excited when we arrive. We get updates on how they are doing daily. I’d love to see photos of them with the extras we sometimes buy, for example the Lick Mat experience we bought for their last visit and if they liked it. The staff are all very friendly and helpful as these 2 can be a handful when dropping them off and picking them up. Highly recommend this wonderful facility and thier attention to my young dogs.

After a long journey from Ontario I felt that my dog needed a break to play and relax. After a Google search I found The Barklay Pet Resort. I'm am so appreciative for the care that Winnie ( my Shih Tzu) received. I got updates with pictures. And I can truly say that she has never come home from a boarding facility as happy or clean!! The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The rates are very reasonable. Such a wonderful experience. Wish I could take "Barklay's" home with me. If you are looking for a doggy daycare or need to board your dog I highly recommend this place.

Our dog Oreo loves going to play. He’s so excited he talks all the way, he enjoys playing with his friends and running around in the fields. The staff are lovely and really take the time to understand the dogs and their needs. Highly recommend

We took our Murphy to Barklay for doggie daycare recently. He LOVED it! His days were filled with playing and he was exhausted when he came home, a great sign of being active all day! We loved getting an update half way thru the day and seeing him play, we also received a report card at the end of the day with additional photos, was a very nice touch. We would highly recommend, never had a worry about leaving him for the day. The ladies we met were lovely and definitely cared for the dogs that were in their care.

We have boarded our dogs a few times now at the Barklay and I swear it’s their favourite place. I know they are always well taken care of and have so much fun. The check ins and posts cards each day, as well as all the communication the staff provides has us knowing our dogs will be safe and tuckered out when we pick them up.

My daughter’s dog Winston spent last week at the Barkley Pet Resort and we could not be more pleased with his care. This was his first experience away from home. It was great to receive a report card and photos of him every day. It turned out to be wonderful vacation for him. We will take him to Barclay’s again and recommend them to friends.
