Best place to buy meat products in Ottawa. Lots of parking. Friendly and quirky humour staff. The sausages are amazing and the prices are all reasonable. i love the veras burger here too.

Asked for a roast they didn’t carry and they went out of their way to get it for me, they offered to stuff it with my spice mix, cut it for me and make it ready for the oven. I really appreciated that they were proactive in offering suggestions and options.
I highly recommend this shop! Thanks to the great staff!

I'd been searching for LONDON BROIL for over a year when I stumbled upon this local company.

The customer service, the price point and the quality of meat surpassed all my expectations.

Most people want to go out to celebrate birthdays, myself, all I wanted was to grill these and eat them. Mission accomplished.

Love the burgers here. Always taste wonderfully homemade with an abundance of great toppings. The staff are always friendly and professional. The meats and prepared foods are outstanding (you pay good money for great product). If you want a butcher shop that goes above and beyond, this is the place.

We have shopped at The Butchery for many years and this is the first time we have experienced a product of low quality. We decided to purchase a 5lb stuffed turkey ($70) roll for this Thanksgiving dinner and we were disappointed with the outcome. Following the rules for fowl, the meat was cooked to the proper temperature and rested the recommended time. The turkey meat was extremely tough and dry. I've cooked many a turkey in my life and never experienced this level of toughness. Also the view of our guests was that the stuffing was bland with little flavour. As I said we have always had excellent products and services from The Butchery, and sadly this was a real disappointment.

We purchased today tartar meat, and it wasn't the first time that the meat was fat, nice red outside but very dark inside, no more tartar from this place. So disappointing ? you would expect nice fresh meat from your local butcher.

Top tier butcher in Ottawa overall, service is already friendly and the meats are high quality.

Ordered about 60 burgers and 50 sausages the other day for an event, couldn't have gone smoother, everything was perfect, pricing was reasonable and everyone had nothing but good things to say about the burgers.

The Butchery was recommended to me as a place to grab a bite to eat, and am glad that I tried it out. The ordering process was a bit confusing for the uninitiated but the staff were helpful in clearing that up. I had the standard burger with a side of poutine and both were delicious. I would recommend this place to others.
