Butchard Garden est un très beau jardin il est vrai magnifiquement fleuri néanmoins c’est un attrape touristes les couloirs des allées ressemblent à celui du métro. Alors aller au restaurant là dedans, va pour un thé !

How do you rate a proper English high tea with a window overlooking one of the most beautiful gardens on the planet?
Everything was absolutely perfect. I strongly recommend you add a flight of alcohol to your tea if you are of age. The place obviously went through a lot to provide the very best locally sourced alcohol. It showed.
I ordered the lemon ginger tea and it was perfect.
Try to get a garden view window if you are a bird watcher, as the hummers, juncos and swallows were non stop.
They even took our photo for us. Enjoy!

Phenomenal afternoon tea. Everything was just great— from the tea to the sandwiches to the sweets to the service. Our server was very sweet and helped explain the display and was happy to take pictures of us. We made a reservation but I think they were still seating walk-ins — I’m sure it gets much more crowded on the weekends though. Some customers who came in didn’t quite understand that it was a set menu for afternoon tea, and they left when the server explained this to them, so make sure you look at the menu before coming in. One of the highlights of our vacation!

I stopped by for a late lunch before leaving the garden, and luckily I was able to get a table without a reservation. I ordered afternoon tea, and the server explained everything to me in detail, which was impressive. The sandwiches, tea, and cakes were all good. Above all, the scent of the flowers was wonderful, and the beautiful flowers and interior were a delight to the eyes. It was a truly romantic day. I highly recommend you visit.

What a great experience at the Gardens. The actual gardens are beautiful and pristine, and the meal at the Dining Room lived up to that! Shane was super knowledgeable and friendly as our waiter, and all the food was delicious. I’d especially recommend he heirloom tomato/burrata app and the pork chop entree.

The sun room dining area is gorgeous!

The food was very good and in good quantities. The triffle was delicious, as was the scone. (The only thing that wasn't excellent was the smoked tuna sandwich, which we all found a bit odd and chewy). Overall a good value experience for the price.

Standard Afternoon tea food, nothing outstanding, and something you’ll typically get at a typical afternoon tea. The reason I gave this a 4 star instead of 3 star is due to the atmosphere and service. Butchart Gardens is a place to visit for sure! Afternoon tea there wasn’t 5 star service but definitely above average. I’m a bit biased after having afternoon tea at places like the Queen Mary in Seattle and at Aman Hotel, Tokyo. Those places are definitely 5 stars all the way!
