Very beautiful location I never knew existed! It's a bit hidden away but totally worth going if you like gardens. Even during the cold seasons it's still nice to walk around even though I'm sure it'll be much more beautiful in the warmer seasons!

We hosted a Women's Wellness Event here and the venue is just spectacular - beautiful interior as well as exterior with the gardens outside! And our coordinator Nave, was SO helpful, very responsive and was just such a pleasure to work with - he helped make our event stress free and took care of everything we needed! We will be back to host more events!🙏

For people interested in horticulture, this might be more interesting than Butchart. No crowds made it very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our visit so much. We spent a lot of time in the bonsai gatden. We also enjoyed a couple of meals at Charlotte and the Quail very much.

I found this beautiful garden through Google Reviews, and it’s quite remarkable and I would definitely recommended this place to visit. The highlight is the Takata Japanese Garden, and the Bonsai Garden, but also the little trails through the forest.

Interesting garden. Very much a learning experience as well as a sensory experience.
A bit more of a wild garden as opposed to manicured.
Lots to learn about the plants, vegetables and the holistic gardening experience.
Also very service oriented team here. We arrived at 3:30 not knowing 4pm was the closing time. The young could see our disappointment upon learning our timing error. So she invited us in to have a look around FOC and highlighted her favourite parts of the garden so we could make the best use of our 30 minutes.
We'll be back (at a more appropriate time) to check it out at a more leisurely pace.
Worth the visit and a couple of hours exploring and enjoying the peace and serenity of this spot.

I'm not really a garden person but I went there with my wife and kids and absolutely enjoyed it. I love the fact that they focus on local plants and have labels & boards to read.

The gardens are very relaxing and it's awesome that they allow children to visit for free.

Had such a wonderful afternoon with my wife there. Very reasonable rates to get in. But if you plan on visiting twice look I to a membership.
The gardens were awesome and amazing, they had them separated from one another and some of them were very magical. We started on the one side by the Cafe and by the time we went down and all the way back up through the winter garden my wife told me that was it and we had seen everything. I let a chuckle and suggested we take a few minute rest.
We were not even half way through but she couldn't see the other side yet.
So many styles of gardens all meticulous. I think my fave for any time of the year was the bonsai-Japanese garden but my fave for the spring is the rhododendron garden all I full colour bloom. I also very much enjoyed the ethno trail that taught us about the plants used by our first people's on the land and what they used them for.
I think if you visited every month or so you might see a different garden as blooms open up and die off. Definitely will visit again when were are in town with the time.
Don't forget that they also sell quite a few of the plants you will see in the gardens. It was hard to walk out of there for under $100 they had such great plants. Lol

Beautiful garden filled with spring rhododendrons. This place is also all about learning about plants and preserving them. They are also selling plants here too
