I had the absolute pleasure of working at the little lavender festival this past weekend and it was such a beautiful, memorable day. The atmosphere was peaceful and inviting, with live music setting the perfect tone as everyone explored the farm.

The workshops were a standout—led by knowledgeable and passionate local business owners. Whether you were interested in crafting, wellness, or lavender-inspired creations, there was something for everyone to enjoy and learn.

The farm itself is stunning—lavender in full bloom, photo-worthy scenery at every turn, and a calm that you just don’t find in the city. Plus, the sweet treats were delicious and perfectly complemented the experience!

It’s clear how much heart goes into everything here. I highly recommend visiting—especially during events like this. A true gem! 💜

This place is such a beautiful farm! The lavender and the gardens are breath taking! You can really tell how much work and effort they put into it. Leanne and staff are amazing. You can't help but feel good when your here!

I went here for a yoga and sound healing event; I must say it was great. I enjoyed it a lot. At the end, we saw the farm, picked our lavender and bought some things at the shop. I recommend this place. It’s super cute and very relaxing

I attended High Tea at the Giving Place this weekend and it was absolutely perfect. Leanne and her daughter were so so so kind and made the entire experience amazing. The selection of teas and the menu for the high tea were great. In addition, we got to make our own lavender bouquets and saw some adorable goats. There is also a selection of lavender products for purchase, the tea and the lip balms being my favourite. Highly recommend the Giving Place for a weekend activity.

We loved the lavender festival on Sunday!! What an amazing magical place. Beautiful lavender fields and empowering messenges throughout the the property. Very serene and and a great message to love yourself and others like the rescue animals. We bought several great items from the gift shop and the vendors. Check out their amazing all of their amazing events like High Tea, yoga in the lavender fields, candle and wreath making workshops. Leanne is such a wonderful person 💜

This is a fantastic place operated by a very warm and philanthropic family. Many things to do here and beautifully decorated. Fantastic lavender products that you must try. A beautiful farm experience well worth the visit from anywhere in the GTA.

I’ve been to the giving place for two events and both times my experience was fantastic. The grounds are beautiful and so tranquil (a perfect escape). The food is also 10/10 - Leanne and her team are doing a fantastic job and everything tastes amazing.

I did buy some of their tea to bring home I enjoyed it so much. Can’t wait to visit again and bring more people with me to enjoy the experience.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this charming lavender farm during their festival with my husband , and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. Set in beautiful, peaceful surroundings, the entire experience felt like a much-needed escape from the everyday.
The festival was thoughtfully planned with something for everyone—local artists, delicious food vendors, and hands-on workshops that brought the community spirit to life. I loved how welcoming and friendly the staff were—they went out of their way to make sure everyone felt at home.
Their homemade lavender products are a must-try—natural, beautifully made, and perfect as gifts or a little treat for yourself. Beyond the festival, there are so many creative activities at the farm to enjoy throughout the warm seasons: yoga , fun escape rooms, and adventure quests that were great for both kids and adults and so much more.
It’s rare to find a place that blends relaxation, creativity, and fun so effortlessly and all with the focus of giving back to the community. Highly recommend visiting if you're looking for a unique day trip or weekend outing in a lovely small-town setting.
