Very nice place and even better staff. It always nice to see a staff member who believes in their brand as much as they do here, especially at a restaurant because you know your food is made with love.

I ordered the Lamb Apo Ola, with a side of Greek salad, and a locally sourced, from Tailout Brewing, can of IPA. First of all, a chilled glass instead of a room temperature glass would have been nice, but not a deal breaker. The only reason they don't get a 5th star is because it's a little pricey for what you get, what isn't these days, and the tomatoes were mushy so the salad was not that great. Again, I don't really fault the restaurant for this, after all, I myself have brought home mushy tomatoes from the grocery store. The gyro, however, absolutely beautiful! The lamb was cooked to perfection, packed with flavor, and even had a little tiny bit of kick to it. The mushy tomatoes couldn't even ruin this masterpiece! I just wish that they had Greek roasted potatoes on a regular basis as it's only on special days, that's usually my go to side dish at any Greek restaurant.

I highly recommend The Grateful Table, just make sure to bring a little extra cash with you, trust me, it's worth it! Cost before tip was $32.75 tax in. I would have taken a better picture but I was thrown off by the extremely fast and efficient service.

Ordered the Kootenay Lamb Gyro with a side Greek Salad for a total with tax of $23.63 before tip. As someone who enjoys lamb, I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion of lamb. The meat was quite tender, and very well spiced. The side salad was smaller than I'd like, but tasted good and served with a generous portion of feta.

Service was kind. The interior decor was casual, but very clean and put together. Overall, I was very satisfied with the food and service for a quick lunch.

This restaurant was found on DestinationCastlegar.ca website. This cozy family restaurant was 100 percent full when we arrived with outside diners for dinner!
Rose, our server was so cheerful and prompt with her service! AMAZING
For dinner, I ordered the Shrimp Louie Salad with Jimmy’s Lemonade.
The salad had beautiful presentation, fresh, crispy veggies with a plethora of shrimp. WOW
Jimmy’s Lemonade tasted like it freshly squeezed and so flavourful YUMMY

Tonight was the first time attending this restaurant, food was hot and fresh. The Tzatziki and pita was incredible, could’ve just eaten that, it was so good. I had the rib special, everything was very tasty and generous portions. My companion had a vegetarian gyro which also was amazing. Our server Desiree was very patient explaining and recommending meal choices. Service was fantastic. Will be returning soon 🙂

My sister and I enjoyed a delicious lunch there today, she had the special and said it was delicious, flavourful and juicy as was my gyro. We even enjoyed a birthday treat on the house. Great service, great food.

The owner George was a delight. We walked in with no reservation with a big group and he made room for us even though a birthday party was taking up most of the space. The food was phenomenal. I highly suggest the saganaki cheese appy. It is out of this world. I highly recommend dining there. Atmosphere and service are top notch!

After receiving several recommendations I decided to give this little place a kick at the cat, the menu is quite large with numerous authentic choices and a large selection of pizzas, to be honest I was a little taken aback by the pricing but even more so once I received my items and was startled by the relatively small portions that being said the pizza was tasty, the calamari was tasty and not rubbery although the advertised “creamy Caesar salad” was not creamy, it was dry and bereft of flavour. The staff is friendly and helpful although the place is extremely busy, so order early and be prepared to wait, the decor is nice and the outside patio is well setup and comfortable
