Spending time at the Local feels like what "going to Grandma's house" should feel like - warm, welcoming and free from judgement. The staff and volunteers truly understand that sometimes having fun means making a bit of a mess in the process. 😆

It's a safe space for children and adults alike to just be themselves. Thank you for so many wonderful meals and genuine conversations. 💜

The Local has never been the same since the greenhouse program and kid crafts have been cut out of the Monday night meal.
That is what made Monday night really special.
I really hope they bring it back someday.
A five-star rating would be appropriate if they did.

Dear friends at the local.. you are all wonderful and do a great job serving our community.

Please bring back the greenhouse program with the kids crafts on Mondays.

Lucy and her team always make delicious meals for the Friday lunches (and I'm sure Monday dinners, haven't made it to one yet, but can't wait!).
The atmosphere is reflected in the name; COMMUNITY. My family and I always feel so welcome there and we've gotten to know the staff and many of the other patrons we see on a weekly basis.

We also love the food market, where I have yet to go in and leave empty handed. There's always a great deal to be found!

Everyone in town should check this wonderful gem to our small city out. They won't be disappointed 😊

Cheap food in the market side but the price difference will be taken from your dignity by the staff and volunteers. On the cafeteria side it's vastly different with the staff and volunteers being kind and helpful. Perhaps the market staff could take a course in manners from the staff at HoB or the cafeteria side of their own location.

Very friendly atmosphere and on Fridays can get local fruits and vegetables and honey. I'm a member of just couple Awesome groups that is Offered here. E. P. I. C. & C. A. T. Good soups and the garden is very nice. Very good things that is Offered from the Local each and every day.

The Local is an amazing asset to out community. We enjoying going to the kids pizza nights and the food fest. The market has expanded and includes a wide variety of pantry, meat, veggies, fruits, eggs, breads. Definitely check out their weekly programing.

This is one of the best facilities we have in stratford. The children learn to
Grow,prepare and learn the value of fresh grown fruits and vegetables. With Liz mountain at the front center leading the way and moulding our youths into a healthier as we approach this new year.
The local has also helped me in many ways
And again 75 percent of that help came from Fresh fruits and
Veggies. I honestly believe the local can change
Many lives if they are prepared to change
