Great, fresh food and awesome service! Little place big flavor! Had the MONSTER burger and it is a monster! Delicious and towering! The sauces are all home made. All fresh ingredients, nothing frozen. The staff went the extra mile for my wife and I. Couldn't have been more impressed with The Muscle Chef! Check it out!

It was a amazing experience. The waitress was very nice, The cook was very experienced in cooking. He had cooked since 15 years. The food was very good and it was the best and authentic korean food me and my parents had ever tasted. I recommend this to other first timers in Alberta.

There are a few of their sauces I had and told them to bottle it for sale. Everything was fresh, homemade and as a vegetarian I was impressed with a variety to try on their menu. They are gonna need a bigger place soon. Every dish I saw looked great and everyone was impressed with their meal. Congrats Muscle Chef!

Bella and Daniel are the most lovely, attentive and caring restaurant owners you could ask for. The food is incredible, please try meals from their Korean menu if you’ve never had them before. All sauces are homemade, all the food is fresh never frozen. The quality for the price is not comparable in the Red Deer area. Every single thing on their menu is very carefully considered and made with love, and we know because we’ve basically eaten all of it! Hah!

You gotta eat here!! Pork bulgogi rice bowl and Boneless Crispy Chicken rice bowl both ordered spicy, which is Canadian spicy so just a hint of spice. You like hotter ask fpr more spice for sure. Excellent lunch, excellent service, excellent food.

Our first time here and we loved it!! Came on a very cold rainy day and the service and food was amazing. Our waitress Bella was very friendly and offered us a free pop since it was our first time. I got the beef bulgogi noodles and my boyfriend got the chicken burger. Both very good, and Bella mentioned her husband has been cooking for the past 15 years. You can definitely tell. We really appreciated the warm service and delicious food. We will be back again!

The Muscle Chef is a cozy restaurant with a warm atmosphere and delicious food. It is run by Bella and her husband, the chef. We didn't have the pleasure of meeting the chef as the restaurant was very busy with take-out orders, but Bella is the most kind and sweetest person. There was going to be a bit of a wait for our food and Bella would check on us as we waited and made sure we were comfortable.

Since it was our first time there, we had to try a little of everything. We had some spring rolls, crispy chicken burger with fries, k-dumplings, squid fried, Korean style dak-gang-jeong, spicy beef bulgogi combo, and spicy pork bulgogi combo. It was absolutely delicious. Everything was very flavorful and the presentation alluring.

Typically, if we want Korean style cuisine, we would have to make a trip to Calgary, but with The Muscle Chef located in near by Penhold, we will now have the luxury of Korean cuisine just minutes away.

Needless to say, we highly recommend The Muscle Chef.
