Wow. Where do I start about the best business in the Comox Valley? Brody and Stephanie go above and beyond for their mustard fiends, and provide us with every type of mustard our little taste buds could only dream of!

We had a huge cheese board made for our family who were visiting from Australia, and it was quite possibly the best cheese board imaginable.

Thank you for also shedding light on social justice issues - and using your platform in a way that is inclusive of everyone!❣️

So far I have only had the Cowboy Candy (candied and pickled Jalapeños). But it got me hooked… I ate them like candy with just about anything: burgers? Definitely! Nachos: absolutely. Sandwiches? Yes. By themselves? Why not! I’m addicted and happy to be as these are the best candied pickled jalapeños I’ve tried.

When the 250ml jar ran out I had to have more… well after trying the local farmer’s markets, etc. I finally reached out to the store in Courtenay and Stephanie was great. She went above and beyond to get an order of a few products shipped down to me. I’m now looking forward to trying the horseradish and honey garlic dipping mustard!

TLDR; the owners are fantastic, and don’t hesitate to try any of their products… and buy the Cowboy Candy!

I recently saw the Mustard Lady at the Christmas Fair and was absolutely blown away by her creations! The mustard pickles are an absolute delight—perfectly tangy, with just the right balance of flavours. And the blue cheese mustard? It’s a gourmet masterpiece! Rich, creamy, and with a distinct blue cheese kick, it’s a game-changer for sandwiches, charcuterie boards, or even as a dip (we ate it with pretzels). Highly recommend!

We highly recommend any of the crazy and wild seasonal mustards! But mostly, we love to support The Mustard Lady because they put their heart and soul into what they do and spread so much love and kindness.

We bought a large jar of their classic mustard at the Nanaimo night market and loved it so much we drove out to visit their store in Courtenay. Best mustard we ever had and then stocked up on fine cheeses, meats and preserves while we were at the shop. Amazing company with even more amazing owners. They have an incredibly wide variety of savoury artisanal delights; a must try for sure.

Mustard Lady is like no other! First off, there are so many beautifully crafted mustards to choose from; they are super experimental and it seems they are always coming out with new products. They also use local seasonal ingredients (which is such a win)!

Secondly, the owners of this business are the loveliest people. They put so much love into all their products and you can tell building relationships with customers and other local businesses is important to them. They are just super genuine and rad people.

Oh! and their mustards make the greatest gifts. I brought mustards over to the mainland for my family two Christmases ago and now they request more every time I come over for a visit lol. Eat their mustard, gift their mustard, support these awesome people… You won’t be disappointed!

I LOVE The Mustard Lady!! I am so obsessed with the Dill Mustard and the Sun-Dried Tomato Mustard, and can’t wait to try the new Watermelon Mustard I bought at their Qualicum Beach Farmer’s Market stall this weekend. Great product, great owners, and great selection.

I’ve used their mustards in sauces, meat loaves, charcuterie boards etc - they elevate the flavour of everything.
