I ordered the Family Shack Pack. Overall, it was decent with generous portions, but I’m not sure it was worth the price. I requested the hot flavour, but there was no hint of spice. I wasn’t sure whether the sauce was supposed to come on the side or be directly marinated onto the chicken, but either way, it lacked heat.

The skewers were dry and tough, and while the whole chicken was slightly dry as well, it was it alright. I also ordered three sides—mac & cheese, coleslaw, and peri peri fries. The mac & cheese reminded me of those frozen Michelina's dinners, and the coleslaw had an odd, slightly fishy taste that didn’t sit well with me. However, I really enjoyed the peri peri fries. They were large in portions, well-seasoned, and crispy.

Went for the first time and loved it! Generous portions for everything that we ordered and very unique sauce flavours.

My standouts were the chicken wings and the chicken rice bowl - the grilled veggie add on was also worth it! Topped mine with mango habanero and mild and both were so good. I’ll be back to try some of their other sides, like their mac and cheese!

Let me start with this, their chicken is amazzingggg..!! We wanted to dine in but apparently it was closing so we had to take it home and eat it before it got cold. Fries was crispy and seasoned

I ordered uber eats so I cant speak to service and atmosphere but I honestly don’t know how this restaurant has such high ratings (unless they’re fake/paid). The chicken, shrimp, and fries were burnt (not charred) - it was disgusting to eat. The grilled veggies were soggy. fries was over seasoned. Deep fried pickles were also soggy.

worst of all, the strawberry cheesecake they gave me was moldy.

Onion rings were good though.

Food also took over 1.5 hours to arrive - I don’t think it was Uber’s fault because the driver was at the restaurant for at least 20 minutes.

Great place, amazing workers. They even gave me a free slice of grilled pineapple when I mistakenly thought there wasn’t. W’s only for this place man. Would definitely be back.

Local place I figured I'd try. Honestly I think it's overrated and a little on the pricey side. The food's good not great not bad but good. Kind of expensive the chicken is flame grilled actually don't doubt it at all. The fries are not bad you get the special french fries they have or actually good. But talk about a really bad inside.

The inside of the place actually has a annoying echo, you can literally hear every bite you take and it echoes in the whole room and it's a little embarrassing it to really enjoy the food. The food is actually good expensive but actually good the interior leaves a lot to be desired so you can't really enjoy your food there without making a whole Orchestra for people.

Personally I'll be honest I don't see myself coming back here. If the interior changes and they get a few specials and their advertising them on their windows. I'll definitely come in. But overall you can see that they're trying and it's a locally owned business. They're putting the effort in they even have a secret menu or something. Which is kind of cool I guess but not really since you got to go out of your way to spend money.

Overall I see the vision and honestly man if I drive by and I see that they got a special or something. I'm 100% coming in till then place is okay not great.

This place is good! Very pleasantly surprised by the food they serve! Their dishes are delicious and give home cooked vibes in a wholesome way. Their service is also wonderful. Any time I've called in every person who answered has been kind and courteous. I'd give this place a solid 10/10. Thanks Ali for the great service!

i took my dad with me to The Peri Peri Shack and from the moment we walked in, we were treated with genuine care and kindness. My dad’s a die-hard Nando’s fan — the OG peri chicken spot — but he’s officially converted. He loved the Peri Nero sauce and said it’s the best he’s had, he wants to go back and even asked for two containers of sauces to go, which the restaurant happily obliged!

The chicken was fresh, juicy, plump, and cooked to perfection. Flame grilled goodness. Generous portions, bold and unique flavours, and every bite was full of that delicious smoky peri magic. The fries were crispy and cooked just right, and every sauce we tried was full of flavour.

The service was attentive and warm, and the overall quality of food was amazing. My dad already wants to go back — and he’s planning to bring all his siblings next time.

Highly recommend — this place is a gem!
