This is Sylvan Lake's hidden gem-a top notch butcher shop! Oh man you have to try their jerky or pork bites. The Italian pasta and jams are amazing. All local meat options and protein types. Perogies, butter, cookies, artesianal soaps, black rifle coffee...there are endless wonderful products available. Surprise your taste buds with the best cut of meat! You won't regret it 🤤

I just thought I'd post about my lovely shopping experience at Ranchgate Meats in Sylvan Lake. They were friendly and educated, they have created an information board for people at the front of their store for people so they understand the law and also people with disabilities (seen and unseen) around mask and exemptions. I can tell they are supporting of their staff that have health challenges and are creating a supportive environment. I'm happy to recommend and support this store because of the time they've taken time to be educated on safety and laws for their customers and staff but also because they have great product. They sell Yak which is sooo good! Thank you for making my experience positive and healthy!

A group of 5 of us stopped in on the Friday of September long weekend as we were camping at Jarvis Bay. This shop has fantastic products. We bought a bunch of meat, some Sylvan Star cheese, jerky and steak bites. We haven't tried everything yet, but the jerky and steak bites were fantastic. The jerky had just the right amount of chewyness and was well seasoned. The service was helpful and polite. I'd highly recommended stopping in.

Great local meats, I have been shopping at Walmart for my steaks mainly because they're cheap but this place blows them out the water. I was able to get a big T-Bone steak and three 100g bags of little bites for my trip home. The steaks are absolutely delicious and fairly priced. I would recommend the Whiskey Bites as they're my favourite and for $8 for 200g that's a good deal if I've ever seen.
