We love the urban pet! A little gem in petrolia, amazing and knowledgeable staff especially the owner! She is excellent and really loves the animals! So grateful for this store, anyone who owns any type of pet mammal, reptile or fish should shop here! HIGHLY recommend. We own two snakes and love going here for food for them, it’s great supporting local!! 🙂

I’ve been going to The Urban Pet for a few months now and it’s quickly become my go-to. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely care about the well-being of every animal. Their advice has been spot-on, and you can tell they go above and beyond when it comes to animal rights and proper care. My experiences with this family owned and run petstore has been amazing. The owners are very professional, and they really helped me out yesterday. Great team there and of course they have amazing healthy pets. I'm from Sarnia and I drive to Petrolia to buy what I need there. Support locally owned family businesses. They have a big heart and they truly care.

I cannot say enough great things about The Urban Pet! They helped me select the right food for our dogs and cat, they were able to recommend a joint supplement for our elderly dog that suffers from joint deterioration, and they also were so extremely kind, knowledgeable and friendly! They seemed genuinely interested in getting us the right products for what we needed, and it is also so nice to have a local pet store that has such accommodating hours!

Stopped in today to get some crickets and dog goodies! The staff were all so friendly and had great animal care knowledge! They carry quality toys, food and treats for all types of critters! I will be visiting there again very soon! Thank you again! (Picture of what was eating those crickets 😉)
