What a wonderful romantic getaway. As it was the quiet season we booked the master room but had the whole house to ourselves. The entire atmosphere is peaceful and secluded while being open and airy. The hot tub was in excellent condition and was a delight to soak in while enjoying the expansive view. There is a jet tub and a sauna off the master room while downstairs there is exercise equipment, pool table and karaoke. The kitchen is equipped with anything you might ever need and has dishes that are both elegant and plentiful. Breakfast is not provided but all the kitchen items to cook are there . Just bring food or drive the short distance to eat in Peace River. The owners have gone to a lot of trouble to anticipate needs and provide for them. The stereo system has house wide speakers that distribute music evenly and makes the setting even more lovely. They even provide some CD's but if you are not into country music I would recommend bringing your own. The only amenities you might expect but are not provided were shampoo/conditioner/shower gel. They might normally be there but were not this time, although there was a dispenser in the shower. Everything was in excellent condition and well maintained. The furniture is comfortable and plentiful. The decorating is well thought out and has nice details. I am not the sort who would feel comfortable in this setting if other strangers were renting at the same time. The sauna and jet tub are connected to the master suite so using them would be awkward if other strangers were renting at the same time. It would be very comfortable for a large familiar group to share the house. The owner was difficult to get a hold of by phone but responded quickly to email and texting. She had the house open for us on arrival and gave us an extra late check out just to be nice. Other than when she came to check us out we were the only people on the property. The owners are just down the road if you have any questions but they otherwise let you alone to relax and enjoy. We only stayed one night but went home as relaxed as a much longer vacation. Highly recommended.

We 've been here twice and both times were very relaxing. The house is spacious, clean and quiet and the scenery is just beautiful. BBQ's, hot tubs, nothing is missing for accommodating a couple or a whole family. Children included. Great place for a family gathering. Taking an afternnoon hike with your kids down the Peace River hills or just going for a stroll, either way the air is fresh, clean and best of all, no traffic noise. Highly recommended. I was in the Peace country on business, and had the pleasure of staying at the Guest Ranch. I was so impressed with the accommodations, and the settings for this place was amazing. The house is huge and would be an excellent venue for a christmas party or a family traveling. The view is breathtaking and truly represents the beauty of the Mighty Peace Country. I would recommend this place to anyone who may find themselves in the area and looking for a place to stay. It is reasonably priced for what you get, and the owners are great people, and the beds were super comfortable!!! Great place lots of room to have a get together. Beautiful house! It has everything you need plus a hot tub! Overlooking the river. Close to town. The beds were comfortable, everything was nice and clean. There's a pool table in the basement as well. I would highly recommend it

What a great place to visit. The view is unbelievable and the facilities are just as nice. A sitting room on each level, and a formal dinning room as well asa breakfast room. We used the facility for a training session for a small group. | Five bedrooms and thee full baths, meant everyone could stay on site. The hot tub on the deck as the sun sets, who could ask for a better way to end the day. .

The true cattle drive experience!! Loved every moment, from early hearty breakfast, followed by saddling your horse, working with the cows all day until the end of the day for a great supper and good sleep!

Absolutely beautiful! Would highly recommend this fantastic house for any occasion. Was there for a family birthday celebration and there was plenty of room and lots for everyone to do (toys for children, hot-tub for adults!)|\The home is very large and amenities first-rate. Our visit to Peace River, Alberta, was made even better given our wonderful stay at the Wild Rose Guest Ranch. Set in a newer home built on a large farm property overlooking the Peace River Valley, the accommodations could not be beat and the view was breathtaking. The gracious owners, Koos and Barbara Bos, live on the farm in a separate farmhouse about a mile away. At the farmhouse area they have a barn and silos, farm equipment, etc. They grow grain and other crops, and they have a herd of beef cattle on the property. In the "Guest Ranch" house there are 5 bedrooms, 4 on the upper level, and one (the master bedroom) on the main level. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom (with sauna, soaker tub, shower, etc). The upper bedrooms share two upstairs bathrooms. Two of the upper bedrooms overlook the Peace River Valley and two look out over the front of the property with a nice view of the fields. One of the nights we were there we had the whole house to ourselves. Other nights we met guests from South Africa and then the Netherlands. The owners sometimes rent out the whole house for business functions (eg, Christmas Parties), and for weddings, etc. You really do feel at home at this ranch. There is a large raised deck and hot tub, basement exercise room and pool table, office work area with laptop (second floor) and wireless internet throughout . It is fully air conditioned and adequately heated (two furnaces -- it is Northern Alberta). There are some things to be aware of. Breakfast is a do-it-yourself set up -- continental, with a reasonably wide range of items, but they also provide access to a full kitchen and fridge with eggs and fixings for those who want to make a bigger breakfast. The ranch is located just outside of the built up part of the town near the Peace River airport (not busy at all). The ranch house is located about 7km off the main road (8 minutes drive) along a well maintained dirt/gravel road. We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the area. It is one of the nicest B&B's we have ever stayed at. This is definitely the place to stay in Peace River.
