Nice trails and beautiful setting. Someone was working there but went inside as we approached and never greeted us. The signage was helpful. Don't go if you think you are getting a tour and are going to learn something from a human being.

This was an absolutely fascinating place to visit. It may not look like much driving in but it is worth the visit. I suggest going in the fall to be able to see the thousands of small fish being nurtured before release. I went the 1st of September and stayed for a whole hour watching staff feed the fish and learning all about the release, the local culture, fishing seasons, native involvement and so much more. It is a complicated and nuanced world to delve into but well worth it. The staff is so friendly and informative. Don't forget to ask lots of questions!

It was nice to see fish in residence. The attendant Dylan was friendly, told us about the different fish in the holding ponds, and where they're yo be released.
