Great little spot in the city. So quiet when you get it to yourself. The hours are not the most reliable, but it’s always been that way, even when I was a kid. Regardless, if you get lucky to enter, it’s always a nice visit.

The greenhouse is beautiful but small. There are so many different types of beautiful plants displayed. When I was there, they were growing oranges! The other greenhouses weren't open to the public which was disappointing but definitely a place to visit! It's great for those who take public transport as it's near the O-train.

This is a hidden gem. It is a small space but such a treat to see the beautiful tropical plants. Lots of cacti & beautiful bromeliads. There are other green houses around that are not opened to the public but fun to look through the windows.

Arrived at 3:00 and it was closed up early with no notice. Large groups of disappointed people are waiting outside the doors. Lots of tourists. It took me 45 minutes to bike here. I guess the hours need to be updated on the website and on Google Maps?

Beautiful somewhat hidden gem in Ottawa! It’s very small, but it’s free and very well maintained. Since it’s low key, there’s not a lot of people most of the time anyway, so you’re able to peacefully take a quick stroll and of course get that perfect Instagram picture.
Also side note, if it’s locked during open hours, you’ll need to call the security because they have the keys.

Nice greenhouse with tropical plants such as many kinds of cactus inside. Good to have it in Ottawa as it brings a variety to the usual plants in cold climate, and a reminder of those places nice and warm through out the year.

Beautiful and relaxing greenhouse. Lots of well curated plants to look at and enjoy. There is only one section open to the public, but there is seating inside for those who wish to sit and ponder.
