So thankful to have Valley Vet here in Hanna! Shelby B is my go to girl and is always a ray of sunshine to deal with and really knows her stuff. I was recently on holidays in the Drumheller area from BC. My golden retriever has having an allergic reaction at a campsite on a friday morning of a long weekend. I called around and Valley Veterinary Clinic in Hanna said they had an opening in a couple hours and could fit us in. We drove there and Dr. Christianson checked over my dog and said it looked like an allergic reaction. She gave a shot of antihistamine and advice on what to do if it doesn't get better and what symptoms to look for. Luckily that one shot at the vet was enough to bring down the reaction and my dog was feeling better in a few hours and was all better by the next day. What a relief! The staff were so friendly there and I had a great experience. Thank you so much, I highly recommend your clinic.

Don't bother calling Hanna with a cattle emergency during calving season. They just say they are swamped with appointments, not other emergencies, and can't help. Last time I checked emergencies are super important, but I guess not to them.

Dr K. Welsman is a great addition to the Valley Vet team! She was quick to see us for an emergency visit before her shift was over, thoroughly examined our anxious dog and helped us weigh the pros and cons of getting the operation.
