Stumbled upon Vicki’s Veggies while exploring Prince Edward County, and what a delightful find! This family-run farm-and-stand catches your eye with its quaintest-of-quaint roadside shop nestled under a towering tree—an organic gem that blends into the landscape as if it’s been there for generations.

Inside, you’ll discover an astonishing selection of products, fresh leafy greens, seasonal vegetables, and even delightful treats like local lemonade.   What I love most? It’s all so effortlessly accessible—no cashier in sight; just honesty, community trust, and that irresistible farm-to-table feel.

I love the design, layout, and obvious heart that is put into making this place operate.. I never got anything, because I had unfortunately, for me.. shopped at a big box grocer a few hours before, but if I had known about this place, in my explorations yesterday, I definitely would have came here first! The veggies looked amazing, and fresh, and the interesting local choices, made me feel secure that everything was super fresh! I would encourage anyone to check this place out, if your near the Black River area..

Lots of overpriced goods. I was a bit disappointed about that. Very small space, difficult to navigate and if there are 2 or 3 people in there it gets very uncomfortable. Great produce though.

Everything is fresh a d there is a great assortment of local meat and fresh produce. Did you get your seedlings too? Been getting my seedlings from Vicki for more than 10 years now!

Vicki's Veggies is a great roadside farm stand full of organic locally-grown produce like heirloom tomatoes, string beans, garlic, peppers and other seasonal vegetables. You can also purchase lemonade and apple cider vinegar produced near by. Vicki's operates on the honour system - there isn't anyone manning the till, instead you put your money in a cash box or you pay online. When you walk in, it feels like a little magical cabin full of wonderful things you must get.

Legendary PEC produce. Tomatoes that have more flavour than you can shake a stick at. Garlic, potatoes, leafy greens and tons more. Fresh local burrata cheese, meats, teas and even local lemonade can be found in the honesty box store and market. Beautiful as always and if you can catch the yearly tomato tasting, you are a lucky soul!
