We added our beautiful girl Gouda to our family this year thanks to Dawn at Von Rothhaus German Shepherds. The first time I spoke with Dawn we had a lengthy conversation and instantly you could sense her knowledge and passion for the breed, and that she truly cares and loves each puppy as if it was her own. Gouda was bred from Nikki and Ducati and was one of a few of the pups from her litter that came out with a longer coat, which we absolutely love. Not only did we receive continuous compliments on her beautiful appearance, her incredible temperament and level of intelligence were noticeably beyond average. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, responsible, reliable and compassionate breeder, look no further. Von Rothhaus German Shepherds are top notch and we would highly recommend.

It’s clear that she loves her dogs and is incredibly passionate about her work. Her facility is beautiful and all of the dogs we met are friendly and have great manners.

Dawn was incredibly supportive as we went through the process of selecting a puppy. She helped us choose a perfect fit for our family and we couldn’t be happier. Aeris has a fantastic personality and her looks are stunning. We get stopped regularly and asked where we got our dog from.

Bought my Von Rothhaus German Shepherd last year & I couldn't be happier. As my first sport dog "Tulsa" aka Ruze Von Rothhaus has been a great addition to my home. She has great drive, stellar personality, and shows alot of promise in the sport of IPO. Dawn as a breeder was super helpful when it came to picking the right litter and puppy for my sporting goals. Now at 15 months Tulsa has both her CGN and PCD title and will be going for her BH in early June. Dawn is super supportive of my goals and has been great breeder when it comes to updates and supporting us. Love my Von Rothhaus girl!!!

Do not purchase a dog from here!! My family has had the worst experience dealing with Vonroth Haus. We bought a dog from Dawn 3 years ago and never received our dog 🙁 After the first puppy we selected had passed away in their care, they let us know that we can receive a puppy from the next litter. After that, we were ghosted, and haven’t heard back. We called, sent emails and texts, and drove to the farm during their hours in hopes to hear back and either receive a dog or a refund. We received neither 🙁

I searched really hard for a new breeder after my 12 year old GSD passed away. Von Rothhaus immediately stood out to me. I spent months researching and comparing and still, Von Rothhaus was the one I always went back to. Dawn answered any questions I had despite how busy she appeared to be. She is not in this for the money and truly cares about her dogs. I liked that there was an application process that asked questions about your purpose of the dog, previous vet information, references, etc. This made me feel that this was a legitimate breeder who had so much passion for what she does. I like that her dogs are tested for genetic mutations and she provides their hip status. I will always go back to Dawn in the future for dogs. She provides information, training tips, and helpful insight throughout the puppies entire life. She is always available to ask questions and the training tips she has offered have always been the same as what my dog trainer provides. She clearly knows what she’s doing. The dogs are absolutely gorgeous and so different. I get stopped all the time by people asking where he came from. I also had 2 children and a newborn baby when I received our pup and him and the baby are the best of friends. I can not recommend this place enough. Thank you Dawn for bringing happiness back into our house.

We got our first German Shepherd from Von Rothhaus German Shepherds a little over 2 years ago. Dawn is so informative and lets you know about the breed and the puppies. When we picked up our Judge he was a little ball of energy (and still is today) Dawn wanted us to know this and told us he's a "hyper one". Point being, she always gave updates about our puppy while she was still caring for him. Von Rothhaus German Shepherds are an excellent line of working dogs. I was never a German Shepherd lover until we met our mister. Dawn and her family welcomed ours into their home to meet all of the puppies. My kids still to this day talk about going there and loved loved having the puppies all around them. Our family is over the moon in love with our guy and if you guys do pick Von Rothhaus you will not be disappointed.
