According to Warmland Wolf Kennels in Duncan: they claim to not be affiliated with Salty dog retreat on Salt spring Island who have taken over their site.

Re Breeding Wolf or Coyote hybrids:
Wolves and other wild animals shouldn't be messed with: Wolf hybrids are neither Wolves NOR Dogs. They usually do not fit into either group, which is very sad. So life, more often than not, turns out, or ends badly for them.

Many wind up living their lives confined to cages/pens. That environment is no life for a Wolf or a Dog or any animal..Many people find they cant handle or provide for the temperament & needs of hybrids so they abandon them.

The SPCA and Municipal shelters will not take them, due to unpredictability ..so their only policy for surrendered hybrids is euthanization.

It it irresponsible to breed dogs in the first place when there are not caring homes available for an estimated 80% that are born. Especially ego-selfish to breed wild animals with domestic. It's tragic & should be illegal.

todd jackson is an irresponsible idiot
Good thing it’s going out of business.
Fortunately Yamasku sanctuary has saved all 14 wolf dogs
Here’s the experience I had with toad
Avaricious, Deceptive Markup!

Put deposit on a pup advertised for
$1500
upon arrival To pick out my pup, todd increased the price to $1800. todd said it was $300 extra because it was breeders first and second pick. (He mumbled originally was going to keep the one I wanted but changed hi$ mind and was keeping a different pup). Even Teresa questioned Todd saying I was Entitled to first pick. But todd still greedily wanted more money.
I paid the extra $300 Todd needed because plans were already in place for this to be my next service dog. I know it’s business, scrape up as much cash as possible.
Oddly, Payments were paid to warmland wolf kennel and extra $300 to Todd’s personal email account. Weird, Something to do with Canada Revenue Agency?
Breeder said to feed the pup “shar-Kare” dog food, not good. We found a different brand of food, way more beneficial for his growth and health.
The plus side is a new pup in training.
Thanks for the stuffed toy Teresa, it helped with pups re homing transition!

Incredible owner and knowledgeable of his animals.
Todd was very professional and adored his pets.
Great experience and our pup we received from his kennel is the most loveable and intelligent pet I've ever had the honor of having. He's a great addition to our family.
Thanks Brittney
