I purchased a puppy "Oscar" 2 months ago and couldn't be happier. Oscar is a very energetic pup. He was easy to train, (almost to smart) and my vet told me a very healthy puppy. Angie took the time to explain the best way to potty train. At 14 weeks he has learned to sit lay down and is potty trained (we are still working on shake a paw but I'm sure by next week we will have mastered this as well) My thanks to Angie for my new best friend. We agreed to buy a puppy from Purdypuppy without checking all the honest comments on line. MISTAKE!

After anticipating a new puppy for three weeks, Angie calls us and tells us not to bother coming to pick the dog up the next day because she sold it!

NICE! ... I am glad that we did not deal with these people as they are unethical.

Make sure that you go on-line and read all about these breeders. There are some real beauties out there!

They came highly recommended by an acquaintance of ours. We found them very friendly and helpful. It was hard to find a true breeder of small dogs so we were thrilled to find Purdypuppy. We were able to meet the mom of the puppies which was never an option with the other brokers we went to see.

I love my dog, that is the good thing out of this. My experience was horrible with the husband. He was complaining about delivery and parking in Toronto, after I paid $1000 dollars. Loud guy who scared my puppy with his loud impolite demeanor. He made my experience a horrible one. My puppy was delivered in a small bag, and he had thrown up in it. He was so scared when I got him.I don't think the dogs are treated well.

I found Purdy Puppy through a relative who had recently purchased a puppy from this breeder and then shortly afterward I ran into a lady who was walking a breed of dog that I was interested in purchasing (a Coton de tulear) and stopped to speak with her. To my surprise she had also purchased her dog from Purdy Puppy. It seemed that the road was pointing to this breeder so I contacted Angie and from the first phone call to further communications after taking our puppy home she was always professional and helpful.
We bought our Coton from Purdy Puppy and she came with a full vet check, first vaccinations, a bed, toy, 45 days of free pet insurance, Royal Canin mini puppy food and a 5 year genetic guarantee. Angie has stayed in touch with us and is as happy as we are with how well our new puppy (Lilly) is doing. Everything that I have seen and learned about this breed of dog we have in Lilly. She is wonderfully socialized, happy, healthy and a beautiful dog!

I can't understand the other bad reviews as we have had nothing but good things from this breeder as well as the other people that we know who have purchased puppy's from them.

Everyone has the occasional bad day and we all are lead down different roads, so perhaps it just wasn't the right place for the other people to find their furever friend.

We are very happy and love our little Lilly very much!

Oh, as a side note, we were also required to take Lilly in to see our own vet within 5 days of receiving her (which tells me that Purdy Puppy wants to make sure their dogs are doing okay). My vet looked over Lilly and gave her a complete puppy physical and she was found to be in very good health and had a super disposition.
