We camp here with our trailer the weekend after the September long weekend and it was lovely. Definitely gets busy on the weekend but it's also a plus as it means more kids to play with our 3 kids under 8. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the hot tub especially our oldest who doesn't like to go on water much but had so much fun in it. The spot that we found is perfect as it is on the Playland Drive which is across from the playground. They keep the grounds nice and clean. It's also nice that they have a dump station on site (I think they have 2) so you don't have to go far or pay for it unlike different places. Definitely going to try and book for camping spots next year with more family and friends.

We stayed at one of the Cabins, it was great! Nothing fancy, but thats exactly what we needed. It was really awesome that wood was also supplied for the firepit outside! The pool area is really nice and can see how much fun and how busy it must be in summer(we came beginning October, so it was quiet!). We will definitely be back, whether for camping or to a cabin again! The ladies we dealt with were all also super friendly! This was really a great experience! Totally recommend this place!

We had the opportunity to stay here a few weeks ago. Although it’s a beautiful area with great amenities and services there are a few things to be aware of. Several of the campsites are neighbours to “members” of the resort who will literally stand there and watch you and call into the resort patrol any small issues. The resort patrol is very intense and drives around 15-20 times a day staring at everyone. Of note - We were not a party crowd we had a family with small children in bed early. It just felt way too intense and it was hard to relax and enjoy ourselves.

Secondly it seems the washroom cleaning takes places daily at 8am - 10am which is probably the busiest time to try and use a washroom especially with kids.

For $100 a night it is quite expensive and there are much nicer less “regulated” camp sites for a lot less out there. Won’t be staying here again.

Just finished a nice stay here with my family in the one bedroom cabin. It is a very nice size and has a pull out couch in the living room so can sleep more people. Worked great for the 4 of us. The cabins are close to the amenities such as pool, store, laundry, fun shack. Would recommend a spot close to these if camping in RV, or tent spot. The resort is quite large and some would be kind of far from these popular things. The cabins were pretty clean - it is the camper’s responsibility to do their dishes and also to take their trash to the bins on the way out so we found whoever stayed there before us hadn’t washed the dishes great and had left some garbage we had to dispose of so a reminder if you stay here to leave it how you’d like it to look for your stay. Store had a nice selection of snacks, meats, cheeses, bread and camping necessities. They have a library that you can drop off books at and pick up a new one, I loved this! The pools were a great temperature and hot tubs were nice. To top it off, free fire wood for guests which was an incredibly nice surprise. Would definitely recommend staying here. Can’t wait to come back again!

Had the best time at this resort. The pools are fabulous with a toddler sprinkler shallow end, our 2 year old loved it. The restaurant had the best food and beside you could also treat yourself to an alcoholic slushy beverage. They were delicious! Security was great, I felt the kids were very safe at this resort. Lots of family friendly activities, the playground was massive. Can’t say enough good things, we will be back!

Buyer Beware! What they do not tell you about this resort!

This resort boasts a 5 Star rating but when you are there it is not. They sell their memberships at almost 2 to 1. That means there are 2 members for every spot. They also rent to non-members which means even more campers per spot. What this means is that when it is a busy weekend you are not guaranteed a spot to camp. You can spend thousands of dollars for your membership and be put into a field with no services until a spot becomes available. Yes, non-members will stay on their site while you sit in a field, possibly with other campers in the same situation. If you have been camping for a while you may be asked to leave so someone else can have your spot!

The yearly maintenance dues are being raised every year but without any additional services being provided. We have been told in the past, that raising the costs to members helps keep the costs to non-members lower!

Additional Costs - To have your camper on a site for the season or the 3 Year program you must put your name in a draw. If your name is picked for a seasonal lot, you are required to pay an additional $3500 on top of your maintenance dues. The only perk you get is that you do not have to move your trailer every 15 days. The cost for the 3-year program is over $10k and again this is in addition to your yearly maintenance dues making your 3-year cost almost $17k and that is if the yearly dues are not raised.

Only members and their guests are allowed to camp on long weekends. Even though this is the case this is when the most problems occur. From people being towed on and not showing up to damaging comfort stations and other resort facilities. This is sad as this is their campground but allow this to happen. They are taken care of after the fact but too little too late in my opinion.

A new pool was put in during 2019. Members were required to pay extra for this, and this (I believe) has created a huge self-entitlement whereas members do not feel they need to follow the rules. The pool is not monitored and even though signs are posted alcohol and food are constantly by the pool side and if you say something you are met with hostility and good luck getting management involved to sort out the problem! The other issue is that members use the pool as a babysitting service. Children are constantly sent to the pool without the required adult supervision. These members expect everyone else to take care of their children and when the child does something wrong there is no one to talk to.

The amenities are dwindling as the petting zoo and horseback riding have pulled out of the resort. This was a great attraction but sadly they left. The children have a craft time but again members use this as either a babysitting service or a bunch of adults come with one child taking up room that other children could use.

There is security at the campground, but they have no authority and are not roving patrols. There have been many instances where campers are damaged or broken into in the RV parking area. These areas are not continually monitored or patrolled. Also, people from neighbouring areas come and use the resort facilities for free. This includes the pools, hot tubs, wash houses, laundry, arcade, and everything else. Again, without any active monitoring there is nothing to stop this.

As being part of this campground for 4 generations we have seen a lot of changes. Changes for the sake of change are not necessarily a good thing and the changes that have come of late have been done (IMHO) to please the self-entitled and for the members that feel they are the sole proprietors!

This campground used to be a haven for everyone, and everyone looked out for each other but now the resort feels like any other campground, just more costly!

This review is to give potential buyers a complete picture of the resort before paying thousands of dollars!

Disappointed that the petting zoo and all of its inhabitants are gone. That is 50% of the reason that we go there and the kids have so much fun (and spend so much time in the barns and with the animals). We made it work by enjoying the pools but unfortunately there were so many people spitting in the pool or wearing muddy shoes onto the deck disregarding rules and making a mess. Pool Showers were down as tanks were full so we walked to the far showers which with young kids is about as fun as getting a tattoo. This was not our best time here- normally a five star time but sometimes things are just off.

Good campground, lots of large sites. Has lots of things for kids to do (playground, pool, etc). It's a bit of a money grab as they wanted to charge us for every quad on our trailer - even though you can't even take the quads off the trailer in the campground, and what if we had a trailer that was closed and you couldn't see inside.. They are very strict on rules that don't have much reason - like no hammock hanging around the trees, or no tires can touch the grass. There is a beautiful trail right close by which is great for walking or biking. Wifi is spotty as well as service.
