I stayed at Wildhorse Mountain Ranch for 2 months and it was the most wonderful time. I was blessed with the opportunity to learn from both Diane and Bear about horsemanship, gardening and Canadian ranch life. Being in such a beautiful place, surrounded by such special people and animals really has a lasting and profound effect on one's self. I could not thank them enough for this unique experience.

What an amazing Cowgirl weekend we had at Wildhorse Ranch! Diane and Bear Baker provided wonderful home cooked meals, comfy beds, and cozy cabins. The beautiful and gentle horses allowed a newbie like me to feel very secure and confident around them. I loved spending time surrounded by these magnificent creatures and it is very apparent how much Diane and Bear love their horses. The trail rides through beautiful Alberta countryside were very meditative and restorative and provided for a very Zen experience. Soaking in the wood fired hot tub was icing on the cake! Truly one of the most relaxed, rejuvenating and peaceful experiences I have ever had! I will never forget my Prince!

The women's retreat weekend was such a rewarding experience. It took me right out of my comfort zone, but loved every minute. Diane and Bear Baker were great hosts and they helped me to bond with the horses to truly feel their strength and energy. Many are rescues and all have a past, it was very hard to say goodbye! ❤️

I have just come home from the Wellness and Horsemanship weekend yesterday and it is difficult to describe how amazing it was. This place is magical; Diane, Bear and the herd have an amazing amount of wisdom to share. Not having cell reception, electricity or running water in the cabins offers the ultimate break from your everyday life, allowing you to return to yourself and listen inside. The ways Diane teaches you to connect with the horses and let their energy and the messages and teachings they have for us get through is life changing.

Fabulous, I recommend this for all ladies!!! The women's retreat with horses and healing was just the medicine I needed in this chaotic world right now. It's like a breath of fresh air (literally) and a reset. I even had a chance to gather eggs and catch and hug a chicken.

I learned a ton about horses and working with them, this is for anyone regardless of your experience with horses. I've ridden them but only on simple trail rides - I've never caught my own horse in a field, harnesses him, saddled and groomed him, etc. I learned all that and more. How to be safe around horses, what we can learn from them. How we mirror and help one another.

I highly recommend Wildhorse Ranch! Diane and Bear take good care of you, the food was homemade, tasty and plentiful. The cabins are rustic and a great chance to do a full unplug and get into nature. Horses, dogs, cats, chickens and natural landscape all around - just do it. You will love it.

My daughter did a week camp here and LOVED it! She doesn't have much experience with horses and was so happy with experience she gained. She had been to a horse camp last summer and did not enjoy it anywhere near as much. This one, she had the most amazing time, the camp leaders were all wonderful as were the other campers. She said the food was great too. Great place! Would highly recommend.
