We got our Willemsen collie this spring. Allie is the sweetest little pup ever.

Sue was incredibly supportive. She helped us through those first few challenging weeks in many ways. And I know that if I contacted her today with questions she would answer as soon as she knew she could, and help as much as she could.

Allie was raised under foot in Sue’s kitchen in a loving and firm and devoted way. So much of the hard work was already done for us when Allie came to us.

Sue cares deeply for each and every one of her pups, and only wants the best for them and their families.

I am grateful for our newest family member, and thankful for Sue’s generous spirit.

We have 2 Willemsen collies; a 1 yr. Old and have just added a 2 month old. We also have 1 from another breeder. Last year we lost our 2 elderly collies. Sue's collies are well socialized, even tempered, quick to learn and loving dogs. Having had 3 from another breeder we can say that Sue's dogs are a cut above. We live on Vancouver Island, both times Sue went above and beyond in her care and shipping of the puppies. We initially made contact with Sue as she had beautiful white collies available, our newest puppy is a handsome Blue Merle. I highly recommend Willemsen collies. We got a puppy 3 weeks ago from Sue and had an excellent experience. We were able to meet his father, mother and grandmother. All beautiful with wonderful temperament. We spent the afternoon with Sue and the puppies. Sue answered all our questions and provided us with a lot of information. We never once felt rushed in the process. We were sent home with all the information our vet could ever want and a very helpful handout for us. Our puppy loves people and is friendly towards other dogs likely because of the wonderful start he got being raised in home at Willemsens.

My family is so happy with our newest addition. Our puppy Piper is a healthy, sweet, intelligent, laid back, and a very loving dog.

We really notice the difference with Sue's puppies, as they are raised in her home alongside mom, dad, grandma, and the rest of Sue's big 4 legged family 🙂 We were impressed by how attentive Sue is, spending time to get to know Piper and telling us about who she is and what's she's like. Our puppy came to us well socialized and eager to explore the world.

I am the proud owner of 2 Willemsen pups - Logan (2 1/2 years) and Gunnar (1 1/2 years).

I first met Sue in November 2019, when I went to see one of her pups. I was impressed with her professionalism and the environment in which she was raising the pups. I was asked numerous questions about the type of pup I wanted, what my plans were for the pup (showing, family pet etc.), and my home environment (children, fenced yard etc.). Sue takes every precaution to ensure her pups go to a loving, safe, and suitable home.

I immediately fell in love with Logan and his gentle soul. He is extremely intelligent and so easy to train. He has won numerous titles in obedience and other dog sports.

In 2020, I decided to add another pup to our home, so contacted Sue again. I was given the option of getting a pup from a future litter or having a look at a pup from a previous litter. I went to see Gunnar and the rest is history. He is a big strong, intelligent boy who adores being with people and other animals. He has earned 1 obedience title and is learning to be a herding dog.

I am so grateful to Sue for giving both my boys an excellent start to life. They were born and raised in a loving home environment and introduced to many different sights and sounds. This has made training a breeze and has eliminated a lot of other fear issues that my dogs in the past have had.

Sue has made herself available to answer any questions I have had about the boys and periodically checks in to see how we are all doing. She takes the time to comment when they have earned a title and is always interested in their achievements. She takes pride in what she does and raises all her pups with nothing but the utmost love.

I would absolutely recommend Willemsen Collies to anyone looking for an intelligent, well-socialized, healthy pup to add to their family.

I've been blessed to have Makowiec since 2019 from Sue! She is a wonderful breeder who shows the utmost care and love for all her dogs and puppies. This showed in her vetting process as she asked many questions about how suitable I'd be, alongside her phenomenal training. Makowiec was already house trained by the time I picked her up! She got a clean bill of health from my Vet, and has continued to show great health. I was recommended Sue Willemsen by another Collie breeder when I was initially looking, and I've been so thankful to have found her and her collies ever since!

I purchased Echo in November of 2019 and I couldn't have brought home a more perfect puppy. I was very impressed with the professionalism from Sue and even more so with the quality of up bringing and training Echo received from, it was like I received a fully trained dog. Echo has been a dream dog, who is very intelligent and extremely well mannered both of which I can attribute to her impeccable breeding and up bringing. I have had nothing but a wonderful experience with this breeder - and the most perfect dog to show for it.

A family member of mine bought a beautiful white/blue merle puppy from Sue and due to personal reasons, they were no longer able to take care of him. We all had a phone meeting and agreed it was best to keep the puppy in the family, and now I am the happy momma of a boy named Blu.

Sue is very quick to answer every question I had as I had never owned a collie before. In the take home package that came with Blu, she gave us all sorts of helpful information about the dogs, and overall I have had just the most amazing experience with her.

I have never met a smarter, funnier, cuter, more cuddly dog than Blu, and in the future would like to get Blu a brother or sister from Willemsen's Collies.
