Had a great experience hiking here with my partner on a weekday morning. We barely saw 10 people along the entire trail, so it felt really peaceful and quiet. We could get right up close to the waterfall without waiting as there was nobody around

The nature is absolutely stunning, and the trail is well-marked with clear signs, so it’s easy to follow. Some parts were a bit muddy or had streams crossing, so I’d definitely recommend wearing waterproof hiking shoes.

The parking is available only on the street along Harper Street, but there are plenty of spaces for cars. If you visit on the weekend, it's still a good idea to arrive early to secure a spot, just in case.

Overall, an amazing and relaxing spot to enjoy the outdoors. Highly recommend

Woodland and Sawblade Falls on Burke Mountain make for a peaceful, moderate hike through lush forest with two beautiful waterfalls as your reward. The trail can get muddy and a bit confusing with forks, so a map helps. Some noise from a nearby shooting range at the start, but overall a great local escape into nature!

This trail is absolutely picturesque with stunning scenery along the way! It took us about 2.5 hours round-trip with a kid, making it a manageable and enjoyable hike. Watch out for trail bikes, as the path can get busy. The highlight was the beautiful waterfall—it was slightly frozen, adding a magical touch. Highly recommend for a family outing!

Beautiful trail coming from Coquitlam Lake View Trailhead. For a good chunk was slightly hilly but trail was kinda obvious, kind of long not well marked but some white faded signs helped. Or would help if I didn't use a map on my phone. It wasn't too elevated for long periods but the end of the trail went off to the left and that left chunk was down hill like I should have wore shoes with better tread on the souls my shoes were worn out. But I decided to head to Crystal Falls some of which over grown narrow stretch of trail thick bush ish. And it was basically just down hillside ish. Instead of going back the way I came which was then an up hill battle then long stretch back to Coquitlam Lake View Trailhead, instead walked to Crystal Falls. Seen a deer at Woodland Falls trail area. Then a black bear at Crystal Falls.

I really enjoyed this hike. Nice waterfall, little traffic. The gun rage nearby was pretty cool listening to while walking through the forest.
Easy peasy, little elevation gain, close to Sawblade Falls, which is also a nice spot.
Well worth it.

It was a long hike but easy, going up took 3 hours as we were Foraging and learning about the mushrooms and medicinal plants. The way down was much faster, 1.5 hours.

Yes there was a bear sighting. We didn't see it was such a stunning walk. There were 15-20 people cleaning up the trail it had old car parts and washers and other miscellaneous items. Worth the walk.

This location is so scenic and beautiful it’s really shocking to know that this is so close to Coquitlam. If you live in Coquitlam or visiting, the trails in the area are easy to moderate difficulty and are definitely worth the trek. Most trails here take around 2ish hours.
