Sandy Anderson is wonderful! We purchased a long coated shepherd from her and he is amazing! We have grown to known Sandy more since getting our dog and enjoy spending time at her property letting him run and play. We board our dog at her facilities when we go on vacation. He is always well taken care of and happy to stay there. The staff she has working with her are friendly and personable. I would recommend Woodside German Shepherds to anyone who is looking for a well-balanced, loving dog.

I Have not the pleasure of meeting Sandy Anderson the owner/breeder of Woodside German Shepherds in person. But I am so gratefully of her for allowing me the privilege of adding another beautiful and wonderful part to my family.
As a owner of multiples German shepherds and have had various past US, CA and International Champions. I can say Sandy has pick one or the best for me and family.
I love my Woodside puppy and I am so happy to know that Sandy Anderson is only a phone call or message away if needed or any question, concern or advisee.

Amazing breeder that cares greatly. Sandy will actually ask for her dog back if for example, the person can no longer care for him/her. None of Sandy’s dog go to shelters. She re-homes them. Woodside German Shepherds are also gorgeous looking dogs with a wonderful temperament. I highly recommend this breeder.

My husband and I have owned 3 Woodside dogs over the years. They are the best dogs we have ever owned! Sandy's kennels are beautiful and the dogs are well cared for. I am very pleased and proud to be able to write this review on Woodside German Shepherds and it's magnificent owner Sandy Anderson. My son acquired his now 9 year old shepherd two years ago. The owner at that time had become divorced and no longer had the time to look after the dog properly. It was a huge decision for my son to make as I cautioned him on the dog's age and back round. He was told by the owner that he was an anxious dog but when he brought him home to meet me I found the complete opposite was true. He immediately came over to me and allowed me to pet him and hug him without a second thought. I owned a Shepherd many years ago so I do have experience with the breed. He seemed comfortable and content just to lay down and relax as we discussed him moving in with us. Once he did, it was like he had been with us forever. But we were still curious about his history. Since we knew that he had come from Woodside, my son called Sandy and she asked for the tattoo number inside his ear. All her dogs are registered with the Canadian Kennel Club and tattooed. She immediately looked it up and knew exactly who he was and his unfortunate past with more than one owner. But yet this awesome dog and my son had an immediate bond that cannot ever be broken. He is totally devoted to my son and the most obedient of dogs. To our knowledge he has never had contact with young children but my son has friends with 3 young children and he is gentle and protective of them. It is like he has been around children all his life. We have been in contact with Sandy many times and she is an absolute treat to talk to and has never not responded to my sons calls and questions. She has invited us over many times but since we live quite a distance away, we have yet to go but are so looking forward to meeting her in person. We are great friends on FB and my son shares many photos of his dog with Sandy that she loves to post them. She is such a blessing to have as our dog's breeder and friend. The champions she has created speak volumes for her knowledge and sound professionalism regarding everything there is to know about German Shepherds. Her kennel has a 5-Star, A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau which is absolutely huge in her business. She has been in business for 40 years and not many can provide a lifetime health guarantee and breeder support as she does. My Shepherd was professionally trained and I learned from him many years ago that most of all of an individual dog's problems come directly from their owners and the environment they have been forced to live in.

And yet I am very distressed to see that there have been negative reviews about Sandy and her kennel. I noticed them when I decided to post a "Thank-you" review on her behalf. In reviewing the negative comments I saw, I noticed that Sandy had replied to them and stated that they were not her clients and she keeps very detailed records of all her dogs and their owners. She was very disappointed to learn that my son's dog's previous owners had not let her know that they were looking for a new owner. I also noticed that these negative reviews came from people with no profiles attached to their names. I therefore conclude the validity of these people and all they say to be false.

If you are a German Shepherd lover and need advice about the breed and her dogs in particular I highly recommend that you contact Sandy at Woodside. You will not be disappointed.
