This company hires unprofessional contractors who also decide not to pay on agreed time frames. I was "let go" for discovering and addressing a grade problem to the lead and suggesting problem solving solutions. I suspect this impacted this contractors ego and now has become very difficult to communicate with and intends to with hold payment for no other reason than retaliation to sensible argument.

The condescending tone and demeaning manner associated with my interaction with this company's hired help has been unnecessarily stressful over a very simple solution.

It has been 4 weeks since I worked at that job and still haven't heard when this individual intends to pay.

I contacted Year Round Landscaping (YRL) after reading the reviews of all competing landscapers in Calgary. They struck me as the kind of company that delivers great value, and turned out, I was right. I have a modest backyard space with a simple patch of grass. I shared my vision with Joe Caputo, who helped me navigate the project in a way that helped me save a lot of money and make smart decisions that would have impacts years from now. He offered material alternatives, execution styles, and a realistic timeframe. YRL's people were very professional, friendly, and agile enough to adjust to the unexpected, not to mention a couple of curve balls and last-minute inspirations I threw at them. In the end, my vision was realized beyond my expectations, and given the small area they had to work with, I think they did a downright spectacular job. Two thumbs WAY up. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Garbage company i called to get a quote and they said it would be at minimum two weeks to have someone out to even look at my yard im a service tech myself working 6 days a week and still make time for clients and jobs ! i literally have no grass and only need some weed whacking done and weeds pulled and they said chances are wont even be able to get to it this year like whata joke !

Joe, Ali and the team did a great job creating the outdoor living space we were looking for. The work included a concrete walkway, patio and a brick sitting wall. The team was very professional, and the work was excellent and turned out exactly as we had hoped. We definitely recommend Year Round Landscaping.

I got a quote from Elisa Caputo. I received the quote for $8500. Nothing was broke down in different categories. For example.

Brick two layers . 1$ each. You will need 500.
500 * 2 = 1000

Labour three hours at a rate of $100 so that will be $300 .

I got the quote and it just says $8500 nothing was broke down. I did my research. I got two other landscaping companies to give me a quote they came in just under 4000, for my front and back yard. My front flower bed is 41 feet . According to the other two landscaping companies. Year-round landscaping company saying that it came in 58 feet that’s a big difference . I honestly think they’re not being honest with customers and just lying about it. Therefore I will not recommend this company and I will not use this company. I’m sorry good luck to you and be honest with your customers.

No experience with this company other than their gravel truck driver cutting me off by passing over a solid line and dumping rocks out of the back of his truck when I flashed my headlamps. Then proceeding to rev his engine and try and pass me at every opportunity. From the other reviews it looks like their drivers are absolute bottom of the barrel, makes you wonder how their work quality is.
