Went in for a last minute pair of steaks for Valentine’s Day, and boy am I happy I did. Incredibly patient and kind customer service- I got a “heart shaped” pair of ribeyes that I cooked sous vide and finished with a pan sear. Owner also dropped some great wisdom on what to look for when buying a ribeye. The steaks were incredible. They melted in our mouths- incredible flavour, incredible texture and obviously top quality meat. I have spent more at Costco and the like only to come away with FAR worse quality meat. Won’t be doing that again.

Also got some delicious shrimp that was nearly as good as the steaks, and I highly highly recommend trying the honey garlic pepperoni sticks. Basically you can’t go wrong here. Always feels amazing buying local from good people that are obviously going above and beyond to serve their community. Can’t wait to go back.

I waited until I purchased a few things before reviewing. I've got smoked turkey, pork hocks, cheese and ham from here. All have been great. The flavour is out of this world. The price isn't much more than or the same as the grocery store, but believe me, it's more than worth it. The first time they had a smoked chicken just out of the smoker so I bought it on a whim. Simply amazing. Twice I've wanted something and they were sold out. Both times they took my number and called me when they had stock. That's customer service. I think it's a husband/wife shop and they are delightful to chat with also. It's nice to have a strictly local business to support. One warning though, when you walk in, the awesome smell will instantly make you drool and be hungry. You've been warned. Yeah I love this place.

YEG smoked saved Thanksgiving! They had a rolled and deboned turkey available, and it was a spectacular meal. Everyone said it was the best turkey they had ever had!!!

Amazing products through out. Went to buy biltong about two weeks ago and they were sold out, glad that happened because the rest of their jerky is AMAZING! Reasonably priced and flavours are very unique. I'm definitely making this shop a weekly trip for all my jerky/pepperoni goods.

Purchased a fresh turkey roast on the Easter weekend. Was so tender, well seasoned and the owners were more than helpful with cooking instructions. Have purchased many products from them (steaks, pork chops, jerky, burger patties, roasts etc.), meat is always a great quality, and anytime I have stopped by, the service is great. Highly recommend to try them out.

We had YEG Smoked Meats cater our community league dinner and everything was fantastic! Hands down every steak was perfect, the salads (especially the garlic cilantro dill macaroni salad!!) were top tier and desserts were excellent.

I love meat! These folks have unbelievably great meat! Highly recommend trying / buying from this local YEG business. My favorite is seriously everything. The Chipotle Mango Pork Burgers are so juicy and delicious, the filet steaks - top tier! The Smoked ham & Smoked Turkey are off the charts yummy!
