The supervised access center is very disorganized and is very hard to get into contact with. I believe that Natalie is in charge of the supervised access center and she never answers her phone. There has been numerous times that I have had to have the YCWA receptionist send emails to her just to be called back by a “No Caller ID” that I mistaken for spam. I am in court to get visitation with my child and the judge granted me approval to get supervised access, which is supposed to upgrade to unsupervised access after a certain number of visits. It’s been 6+ months and I haven’t been able to get 1 visit done because I cannot reach her. They haven’t even completed my ex wife’s registration yet and I’ve already payed for both of our registration fees! Ive spent over $13,000 dollars in court/lawyer fees because we keep having to make new settlement conference dates because I am not meeting my visitation requirements due to their lack of care.

I especially love this place because it is dedicated to serving women and the elderly, great! I fell in love with the RANA coaching staff since last Friday, and there is an hour-long free course this Friday at 12:001:00time

A few years ago I started going there, and was the best experience ever. Equipment is ok but the workers that were there were the top notch. I went there not only to lose weight but it actually cleared my mental mind. It was an oasis for me. I loved every minute of it. Any of the staff were there to help you at all times. Some of the staff were knowledgeable in mental illness. They were trained well because the ones I spoke with actually helped me. It absolutely sucks that this place is not a safe place I go to anymore. They closed . Most of all it kept my mind clear, better than any medication I've been on in my 40 something years. I am so upset and devastated that this place is not open for us anymore. My life is destroyed again but if you guys open up again that would be the best thing to ever happen to me and I'm sure so many other woman an hour community.

Floor staff are great, in gym and pool, good people.

Policies and service from "the office" leave much to be desired. Also they seem to clean house on support staff for the shelter every other year, and im not confident in their priorities regarding the use of funding.

Filthy, disgusting site. If they moved, the entire area would improve dramatically. No regard for the squalor and crime that they attract to the area and no shame shown by their slovenly employees smoking out front of the building. Their once-great Senior's Active Living Centre is now three tables in an exercise room in the basement. They have a lot of nerve to invite vulnerable seniors to this urban dystopia they've created downtown. It's a disgrace.

Very caring Organization. Received information I went there for. Always treated with respect. I also helped there by cleaning and stocking the Pop Up stand outside there where women in need are able to pick up sanitary supplies.

Terrible Experience!!!! YWCA Summer Camp, location Memorial School, Hamilton is a poor location to keep kids. The staff from supervisor of that location to the staff that handles kids in camp is really unprofessional in approach.
First of all, they don't know how to generate documents of payments. In my case they generated wrong paper and when i brought into their notice they assured to rectify in one week but it's almost one & half month now and despite a numerous reminders, they neither sent rectified document nor revert on emails. They only concerned until you pay them and then they hardly care for any communication with you. This is a level of their professionalism!!!!!
Secondly, this location is absolutely not secured for kids, probably staff is untrained how to manage the kids in camp. My son's external part of eye was brutally injured by another kid in same camp. Upon asking, the class staff member wrote the incident report and assured to look into it. But very next day, in the morning, location supervisor behaved very unprofessional and rudely and asked me to take kid out of the camp. Later, I brought the matter into notice of her manager who proved as a chip of same block. They tried all sort of pressure to take the complaint back even by giving option of refunding the money. Later when none of their scheme worked, they started saying that injury happened outside their premises. I even raised my complaint on their online portal but they too proved like empty vessel makes much noise. They can reach at any extent: one side they give report of injury inside premises by another kid in writing while on the other side they give false statements.
They are poor in hygiene too. They keep all water bottles in one box and kids normally take water from each other’s bottle. They don’t pay any attention on kids’ meal and don’t even bother if kids finish meal or not. Class staff is mostly busy on their cell phones and don’t even show any etiquette if any parent want to talk to them.
Overall this organisation deserves zero marks and credit goes to poor managers of it!!!!
I think CEO of this organisation needs to have some control on its staff or train them properly on how to manage events.
Absolutely not!!! This location is not safe & fit for kids.
