The store is very tidy, and most of the employees are very nice and helpful. However - the lady working the self checkout named sandy is very rude and dismissive. Ive seen her roll her eyes and talk down to customers. I know other customers have complained, and i believe she shouldn't be working customer service at zehrs. Makes me not want to return, and drive to stouffville for my groceries.

I really enjoy making homemade beef jerky. I’ve came here a few times and bought a roast, then I get it sliced up at the butcher. I’ve had a gentleman help me do it before, and he was lovely. He told me I was crazy to slice it at home and when I could get it done here, and that he would slice off all the trimmings for me no problem. He also trimmed the fat and then re weighed it for me.Yesterday, I came to do that however I dealt with a lady at the counter who informed me that “they don’t cut meat for people” and that she is leaving work now, she’ll slice it up but not trim anything. Which I totally understand. We asked for thin pieces of meat. Instead we were met with unwelcoming attitude and pieces of meat cut like steak. When she reprinted the label, she also up charged me $10 even though she added nothing to the product, didn't even take 5 minutes to do it and did not do as I asked. Not a great experience. Leaving this review due to the older woman that was at the butcher counter.

Most of the younger, newer staff are polite and helpful. The lady with a light coloured bob hairstyle at the self check out is consistently rude and chastises customers who need help at the self checkout. Isn’t it help job to help customers?

I am nearly new to Uxbridge and have been shopping at this store since February 2024. Sometimes, I feel awkward during checkout time with services, but I used to ignore them and not give them more importance. This evening (March 24th, 2025), I was poorly treated by a lady cashier who wore a black mask. Once it was my turn to check out, she did not talk or make eye contact with me, but she waved her hand closer to her mask area and showed me something smelling indirect. It was a very, very racist moment that I felt today. Please respect people's colours and culture. We also pay our own money to buy groceries.

Great selection of clothes here, easy layout, friendly and helpful staff. Clean and looks very well run. Flashfood was on point as well.

Short blond haired older lady at the self checkout was pretty rude to me today...Feb 4, 2025. I asked her for a price check because the price did not ring in properly, she was not happy.
