The Grocery People is a true gem in Niverville. John, the owner, is an incredible guy who genuinely cares about his customers; he always listens to suggestions and makes you feel heard. The staff are consistently friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which makes shopping here a great experience every time.

Even though it’s a small-town grocer and can’t compete with the size of the big supermarkets, the selection of food and beverages is excellent and well thought out. You can really tell they put care into what they bring in for the community.

The recent renovations have made the store look fantastic; bright, clean, and easy to shop in. It’s the kind of local store that makes you proud to support, and I’m grateful to have it right here in town.

If you consider yourself a grill master and really want to impress the in-laws or your boss … you will with these tomahawk steaks. Absolutely freaking amazing!
One steak can easily feed 3-4 people.

I find it even more disappointing now especially after the last few months we have had why do so many of their fruit and veggies continue to be american grown.

I saw a package there the other day that had a 🇨🇦 flag next to the price but the packages in that slot matching the name on the tag said "product of usa" on it, why?

It's just a little disappointing because I want to and would shop there more because the staff is so friendly and it's conveniently down the road from us. I really want to support the local grocery store but..... why should I whem so much of their items continue to be usa grown and produced. It's almost everything they sell. Dropping one star because of that and that alone.

Only good things to say about this place. The only thing is... I really try to buy local, Canadian and find that most of their produce comes from the USA.
